This is not really a finished book.

It tries to be a fictional account of a well-known scandal in Greece in the 80s, that threatened to destroy the political class of the time. However, it mostly consists of a jumbled mess of news clippings, extracts from documents in the public record (none of which are properly referenced), embedded within a narrative frame styled as a grandfather telling a story to his grandchild. Vassilis Vassilikos (Greek: Βασίλης Βασιλικός) is a prolific Greek writer and diplomat. A native of the northern Greek island of Thassos, Vassilikos grew up in Salonika, graduating from law school there before moving to Athens to work as a journalist. Due to his political activities, he was forced into exile following the 1967 military coup, where he spent the next seven years.
