You’ll want to read it twice!

You Only Die Twice is the third book in The Genius Files series. I loved this book so much that The Genius Files series has now become one of my most favorite book series ever! I especially enjoyed how the author uses his imagination to keep surprising the reader throughout the book. The main characters are thirteen-year-old twins, Coke and Pepsi McDonald.

Coke and Pepsi are brother and sister geniuses. Because of their genius minds, they belong to a secret program,

This book had amazing plot twists and lots of mystery and suspense! Just the story how a family road trip turned into a manhunt for twins is very amusing and is a good read. I Love the characters internal thoughts throughout the book. This book and the series is by far the best series (in my opinion) that Dan Gutman has published, the story keeps you guessing at every turn and i favor that. I highly recommend this book. My favorite character, was Coke McDonald. I liked how he had lots of interna ...more

As the third book in the series, I think that this book had a lot of action, and at the end of each chapter, there was an enormous amount of suspense. I mean, once you start reading the first chapter, they say something that you think is a turning point, and then in a few chapters, the protagonist and antagonist turn back into their real selves. That's what makes a good book. You have one protagonist, and one antagonist. They both then fight each other. And like many books, the protagonist wins ...more

I wrote reviews for the last 2 books thinking they were some of the best books ever. Well this book is just another step higher. Recurring thoughts about Elvis and occasional creepy nightmares involving Elvis wouldn't let me stop thinking about this book. Not having much time when I read it, I was always looking forward to getting to read another chapter. (view spoiler) ...more

This is one of my favorite books of all time. It's about these two twins, Coke McDonald and Pep McDonald who are going on a cross-country road trip and they get attacked by different villains in every book. In this book, Evil Elvis gives them different codes and Pep and Coke end up meeting Evil Elvis at the end of the book. Some of my thoughts and ideas about this book are that Evil Elvis seems like an interesting character because he has really intriguing characteristics such as insane, mysteri ...more

You only Die Twice is a series of books called the Genius Files by Dan Gutman. He make a very good statement about what is happening.

I have never read a book by Dan Gutman but it look really good. the author really knows how to build suspense by telling you something scary that will happen and you will figure it out when you won't think anything bad will happen. you can really feel the actions he makes you feel think you are right there with the characters. It really makes it hard to put it dow

It’s Marvelous Middle Grade Monday! And today I am taking a look at The Genius Files book 3, You Only Die Twice, by Dan Gutman.
The Story-Pepsi and Coke are traveling with their parents in an RV vacation across the country. They stop at just about every wacky site you could think of, including The World’s Largest Frying Pan and The World’s Largest Chest of Drawers. As they travel, bad things start to happen.
In the previous 2 books they defeated Dr. Warsaw and his trainee Archie. In this book the

Do you enjoy, action, adventure, evil elvis', and giant shredders? If you do, you most read You Only Die Twice, the third book in the Genius Files. It starts out with their aunt getting married, but I can't tell you to who because I would spoil it, but it gives the main characters, Coke and Pepsi Mc.Donald quite a surprise. Coke and Pepsi are part of the Genius Files, a organization for the brightest young children, by Dr. Warsaw. Later Dr. Warsaw went crazy, when he witnessed the planes from

I'm officially a fangirl of The Genius File series by Dan Gutman! This wildly fun middle-grade series, which includes Mission Unstoppable, Never Say Genius, and now You Only Die Twice, is the perfect mix of adventure, humor, and educational information. And, I think book three is my favorite one yet.

In You Only Die Twice, thirteen year old twins, Coke and Pepsi McDonald, continue their journey across America with their parents in an RV. The family has made their way to Washington D.C. and Aunt J

The book, You Only Die Twice, was incredible. As the McDonald twins are back on their journey to California yet again, they find themselves trying to avoid being killed. This time Archie Clone is not following them. It's Evil Elvis who's doing the dirty work. With Coke and Pep having many close calls of almost dying, they escape and continue on a journey of a not so normal life. I would recommend this book to anyone. This book keeps you on your feet for what will happen next.

You Only Die Twice by: Dan Gutman is a good book if you like a good adventure.

This book is amazing. When I first borrowed it from the library, i never bothered to read it. Then, one day being bored, i picked up this book and it shared its humorous and interesting thoughts with me. Pepsi and Coke, I just have to say-amazing and HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Dan Gutman's characteristics that he put in them make be sputter and choke with laughter. They remind me of when I was a small child. Five stars, way to go!

Wow... This book was pretty good. I just picked it up to read because I was out of books and I've read the first book so I thought this one would be good too. Turns out I was right.

I liked this book because it had great timing. The author skipped through the really boring parts and at the intense parts of the story, Gutman drew out the information until the last possible second. I really liked the Evil Elvis and the plot twist at the end. I never thought Elvis impersonators could be so evil, eve

They also have a new threat the mysterious Evil Elvis, who is out to kill them, just like EVERYONE ELSE. Now they're on the run from the Elvis impostor, Mrs Higgins (their psycho health teacher), the bowler dudes (guys with bowler hats), and Dr. Warsaw (their new uncle.) I enjoyed this book because there was a lot mystery in it. They get chased, trapped, thrown into a giant shredder, crushed in a high speed ride, but worst of all nobody believe them. Will they ever return home from their road trip in one piece or they only live to see one more day????. I felt a little sacred and started crying a little bit when I read this book because it made feel so sad and it was always like half of the thing happening is on one page and the other half is on the other page.

I enjoyed this book because there was a lot mystery in it. This is the third book in a series so I would suggest that you read the first two books before this one. This book was about the McDonald twins named Coke and Pepsi McDonald. They were on a family road trip when bad things started to happen to the twins. They were being chased by a guy named Evil Elvis who was trying to kill them. You never know when he might show up but he always seems to know exactly were the twins are going and when t ...more

pure fun....a bit generalist with gender role statements defining "guy stuff" and "that is the way girls are" which bother me but nothing scaring. An enjoyable reluctant reader series with lots of internet interaction.
