Kieran has a dream. A dream that one day he will become a Feral Warrior. Now, to most that would be beyond reach, but he has a better chance. Not only is he a warrior, but his heritage makes it more likely for him to become the fox shifter.

Wonder of wonders, his dream came true. But things are not all shinny and bright. Quite the opposite in fact. You see, it's far from an ideal time to become a Feral. The animal spirits are being poisoned. The darkness consumes them and
I didn't expect to like this book - with Mosquito Brain as the heroine, how could I? - but at least I hoped it would be hot and exciting like the past books in the series. But it wasn't even that.

We first met Melisande aka Mosquito Brain in Hunger Untamed as Ariana's second and all around shifter hater. Because of her hatred, she had stopped the mating between her Queen and a Feral, unwittingly poisoning her whole race and causing the death of 96 of her sisters. In this book, we learned the rea

I honestly did not expect to enjoy A Lover Untamed as much as I did. I have had a serious hate on for Melisande from the moment she was introduced. I hated her even more after reading Hunger Untamed, Kougar’s book. By the end of A Lover Untamed I can honestly say I no longer hate Melisande, she is still not my favorite and I believe I will never really like her. She has an interesting past. Her life has been hard and it has led her to do the things that she has done. She is someone you want on y ...more

Notes: I read the eARC and quotes will need to be checked against finished copy.
My Synopsis:

He didn't think he had the capacity to love someone...

"I've no heart to give you, Jill," he said quietly, regretfully.

"So you've told me many a time, but you're wrong Kieran. You've a big heart in that finely hewn chest. You just haven't met the right female, yet."

Kieran didn't think he had the capacity to ever love someone. His sister had died and he had suffered so much agony and pain that he couldn't

Fox is a new character in the series, his two predecessors died in the previous books, and I liked how Pamela Palmer introduced him. Beside being a skilled warrior, he is a playful kind of guy and his relationship with Melisande was ok, what I didn't like in this book is the plot.

I honestly found the labyrinth part boring (it was the main part of the book), I also would have liked more interactions between the guys and less tête-à-tête between Fox and Mel. Last but not least, after the never en

Umm, yeah, I know the cover is FUGLY. With all letters capitalized. And the title kinda silly...
But I love Feral Warriors series and after the last book, Ecstasy Untamed, I can't wait for what the new Feral Warrior will delivered. Beside this new Fox might be my type of hero.

Can't they change the model of this one to Paul Marron? Please?

My review and an extended sample of the audiobook are posted at

A Love Untamed is the seventh and second to last story in the Feral Warriors series. In this story, we have Kieran, who is now known as Fox. He has joined the elite Feral Warriors during a very turbulent time. The newest Feral Warriors aren’t all that they seem, so the original warriors don’t know who to trust.

Melisande is second in command of the Ilinas who we met in Hunger Untamed. She is a woman who is all warrior

Oh how I love this series. It doesn't matter that it's been a few months since I finished Hawke and Faith's book Ecstasy Untamed , just the first line got me right back into it like it was yesterday and I was reminding once again how truly awesome these books are.

The Feral Warriors are all men you want to see succeed and get their HEAs and despite being one of the newest, Keiran/Fox is no different. He's a charming Irish lad, a descendant of the Fox line, but he tows the same line of defeating e

After the way the last book in the series ended, I had been stalking the sites waiting for my chance to pounce on the next book in advance. When it became available for review, my fingers clicked faster than the eye could see. Yes everyone, I was that anxious to read the next book in the Feral Warrior world.

We start the story eight days before the story ended in the last one. Kieran is training new recruits into the Therian Guard. It is then that he becomes marked as a new Feral Warrior along wi

As the newest member of the Feral Warriors, Fox is still trying to learn his place in the elite brotherhood. It's a task made even more difficult by the fact that he came into his animal at the same time a group of tainted animal spirits found their hosts.

He's barely instilled in Feral House when one of the tainted Ferals kidnaps Kara the Radiant, mate to the Feral leader and source of their power. Now Fox and his new brothers must join forces with members of the sensual and powerful Ilinas to

I feel like this bad cover cursed the book. Fox isn't anything like the guy on it, in fact he is sort of bland, which is why I felt sorry that he felt the pull of Melisande, who so far has been a bitch. That didn't change for most of this book. We do find out why she is like that. Did it make me feel empathy for her, yes, did it make me like her more, not really. For someone as old as she is, she shouldn't have held on to her rage for so long. Another thing that I didn't get, or felt was inappor ...more

I was hoping the next feral novel would showcase Wulfe, but hey, I enjoyed the Irish Fox. A subplot concerning the kidnapping of Kara, the Radiant, kept the plot moving. I wonder though, If Pamela Palmer is bringing too many characters into this world, good ferals, evil ferals, who can keep it all straight? Out of the new characters, I admit Grizz intrigues me, we are not sure what he is.

As for the love story, Fox is hot, and yes, being Irish amped up his attractiveness to me. The heroine Melisa

Vampire Book Club

A Love Untamed is new Feral Warrior Fox’s book. It takes a different turn from the others in the series in that it starts off with a recap of events from Ecstasy Untamed told from Fox’s point of view. Being controlled by the Mage, the newly marked seventeen turned on the original members of the Ferals.

Fox avoids being controlled because his animal’s soul is an original member of the eight. He’s eager to prove himself useful, and when Kara is taken by one of the new Ferals, h

Great book!!! There were a couple of pages that I definitely could have done without, but that aside this book was definitely another favorite. Kind of sad that I will have to wait awhile for the next book, especially since Pamela Palmer has astounded me with these last couple of books. I will eagerly be awaiting the next installment!!!

Loved the interaction with Fox and Melisande, as well as the other Ferals. Took them forever to rescue Kara. So glad she's finally safe, for now. Poor, poor Wulfe. Anxious to see him finally have a mate he can truely love and move on from Beatrice.

The divisions among the Feral Warriors are emphasized when the original nine are faced with the knowledge the the newly discovered seventeen are either the best or worst their lines. The warriors problems are only compounded when Kara is kidnaped by one of the evil Ferals. As they search for the missing Radiant, Kieran aka Fox must work with Melisande, the coldest and most merciless of the Ilinas, who is apparently his predestined mate. Betrayed in the past by Therians, Meli

Pamela keeps the heat going; at this rate, the Feral Warriors will live forever!

Another great novel in the series. While we may know that the Mage & Satanan are highlighted characters, you can never guess where Pamela will take us with them.

Her writing varies from easy to complex, yet easily understood. The characters detailed, supernatural, yet believable. The combination makes for a story which hits others out of the park.

Fox was an interesting book to me. It did have some repetitive elements in the story compared to previous books in this series that gave it some lull points for me(mage traps), which is why I couldn't give it a 4 star rating. I enjoyed reading the book and the story was well written. The Hero and Heroine take you on a journey that you want them to succeed in and they seem to match well. I just have to say it bothers me the mage in this series are so powerful when the shifters seem so not. I also ...more

The newest Feral Warrior, Fox joins in the search for their beloved Radiant. Heading off in teams, Fox is happy to be paired with the woman with an icy glare and touch that makes him burn with desire. She wears a mask of indifference and has built a wall around her heart but when she and Fox fall into a deadly Mage trap, Melisande begins to lower her guard and trust the magnetic shifter and knows if they ...more

The Feral Warriors series is an outstanding adventure with a war between dark Mages and a race called Therians, who used to be able to shift into animals. Now only one shifter per breed can shift, and those that do answer the call to join with the warriors. To shift into their animals they must be exposed to the power the one individual on Earth can call: The Radiant. A beautiful young woman named Kara, who happens to be the mate of the leader of the Ferals. When Kara is abducted by the evil Mag ...more

I do not read this series on a regular basis and in order which may affect me a bit in how I enjoyed this book. However, as a stand alone, I felt no connection between Fax and Melisande, and other than the magical connection making them mated did not see why they would be together. I give the author a bonus point for going out side of the box and providing a different sort of plot with several of the good guys doing through a labyrinth to find their missing radiant. Where I thought the story was ...more

Things are pretty grim at Feral house, and all is not well with the warriors. Their Radiant is gone, kidnapped, and their leader is a hot mess. They need to get Kara back soon, not just for the radiance they all need to survive, but for Lyon's sanity and mental stability. If she dies, he will most certainly follow.

Feral Warriors fans will have to read this as I did and will be satisfied. Series newcomers will likely be lost in the plot and all the characters.

The romance between Fox and Melisande starts off rough. I didn’t particularly like Fox’s playboy persona or Melisande’s extreme cold but about 50 pages in I started to like both characters enough to care that they found their HEA. The author successfully shows how these two people became who they are and then slo

First I will clearly state that I love this series. It is shifters with a difference. That said I was not sure I would like Fox's story but I did want to read it. I am glad I did. I did not think the cover was as bad as others have stated. The cover model looks like a fox (animal. He just does not show that handsome magnetic charm that Kieran is known.

This is an adventure story more than a romance. That is not bad. I enjoyed the adventure and fast pace. It is in the spirit of the ancient storie
