I can sum up Alan Spencer’s novel PSYCHO THERAPY with one word: brilliant. Absolutely, utterly brilliant, in every sense of the word. I have not read a book this riveting in a long time; it pulled me in and forced me to tear through it in just a couple of days time. Needless to say, I highly recommend it and feel it should be one of your first reads of 2013.

This book had a great start, but with such a far fetched idea the execution is always the hardest thing to nail. I loved the concept, a scary scenario, being at the whims of a madman doctor, helpless to his evil intentions. Alan Spencer has a very wild imagination, and a great way with painting horrible scenes. I absolutely loathed Dr. Krones, and was pulling for Craig Horsy the whole way. I think the story could have used a little tightening, there were a few pages I ended up skimming through, ...more
