I’ve been waiting what seemed like forever for the latest book in Keri Ford’s Roughnecks series to come out. I sound like a whiney little kid, don’t I? I just can’t help it when it’s a book by an author whose work I enjoy and its part of a series, it always seems like its years rather than months before the next release. I read the first book and couldn’t wait for this one. I wasn’t disappointed. Hot as hell sex, a stubborn and sassy heroine and one steamy hot male. Yummilicious! Flora is fighting abandonment issues, stemming from her childhood. Jacob is a commitment-phobe. Jacob overcomes his problems to realize that Flora might never overcome hers. Good read. Keri Ford's writing is so refreshing..... just when you think you have read something hot, serious or meaningful you burst out laughing!! These brothers are mighty hot! I liked Flora, but my goodness she was hard-headed!!

It had been a while since I read the first book and it took me about 20 pages to realize this book is happening simultaneously with the other book. I really liked that. I loved Flora and Jacob. They were funny, playful, serious, a little misguided. Another great story by Keri Ford. She is becoming a favorite author and Apple Trail is becoming a place I wish I lived.
