A fascinating look at love and general consanguinity. As thought-provoking as it is beautiful.
I put aside homework to finish this novel, and read several hundred pages in one sitting. This was a truly wonderful book about the love a family has for one another, and the lessons families teach us about forgiveness and understanding.
David Hicks
A beautiful story, told with authenticity. I look forward to her second book.

Well written, First person. Crita must face memories when she returns home due to her father's illness. She confronts her ex, and the haunting memories of her life, as well as the present situation of her father's impending death and her wayward brother.

The protagonist came alive, mostly because her interaction with her world was detailed through the excellent use of first person viewpoint.
