"But you would not be in danger if you didn't go with me," she pointed out.

He shrugged indifferently. "Makes no difference," he told her. "I AM going with you so there's no point talking about it."

He didn't expect her to continue trying to get him to change his mind, but he also didn't expect what happened next.

Hannah rose up on her toes and brushed the very lightest of kisses against his cheek.

On his end, if felt as if the wing of a butterfly had lightly grazed his skin.

This is the last book about the Amish girls who were kidnapped and being sold. I had read the book before and was excited to find out if Hannah Troyer Caleb sister was found. I want to go back and read some of the earlier books about the Colton family.
Tate Colton is a Philly detective who was working on a joint task force with the FBI
were working on the kidnapping of Amish girls around the east coast because one they were innocent and did not go to outsider police.

Very good book and conclusion to the series. Tate is determined to bring down the sex trafficking ring and rescue Hannah Troyer and the other girls. When his cover is blown, he and Hannah go on the run until the mastermind can be captured. Tate is drawn to Hannah in a way he's never been to anyone before. There is something about her that speaks to his heart. I loved the way that Tate protected her. I also enjoyed seeing his delight when he took her shopping, when they saw the decorated store wi ...more
Final book in the Coltons of Eden Falls miniseries.

I am a huge fan of the Colton stories and this one didn't really disappoint. Only reason is didn't get a 5th star is because of the hokey epilogue.
I'm having difficulties categorizing this one. On the one hand, I liked the set-up of the rescue and the end of the plot that has been brewing for 4 books. But I thought the first half of the book, until the rescue was too drawn out and development in the second half was then not as detailed as I would have wanted due page constraints. I loved the way Ms. Ferrarella wrote the characters of Tate and Hannah, letting us into their heads and really trying to see what each was going through as the re ...more

Wow, now I have to find the other sibling's stories. This is book four of the series, and it's written that way. Most books you can read without having read the first few books, this one you kinda had to have read them to really understand the back story, the previous couples and their stories, but you can still read it on it's own. (all of that is to say I have read the books out of order..oops). I so want to read Caleb's story he seems like an intriguing gentleman. I personally loved Tate, it ...more
Ugh! I'm so disappointed in the ending to this series! 1st book was great, 2nd & 3rd books were good this one was awful! Villains were cartoonish and dialog had me gritting my teeth or rolling my eyes and don't get me started on Tate!, for a seasoned detective, Tate did a lot of stupid crap that should have gotten his detective shield taken away and his ass fired! As for Hannah...for someone who was taken and held for the amount of time she was, she was remarkably unscathed and not traumatiz ...more

I really enjoyed this book. It is the 4th book in "The Coltons of Eden Falls" series, published by Harlequin Romantic Suspense. I have especially enjoyed this series, probably because I had all four books and was able to read them consecutively without having to wait for the next book.
Still wondering why she needed surgery after being choked?????
