Pretty good for $3.50. Low the conflict and romance between Derek and Lainey.

This book pulls you right in from the get go! It was very well done. The writing was exceptional and moving. I could relate to Lainey immediately and I loved Derek’s character development. It is very easy to get caught up in the lives of Lainey and Derek. The details, the descriptions, the emotions all painted the pictures of this story in such a way that made it stand out so well that I find I am still thinking about it even days after I finished the book. To me, a good book is really just a mo...more

I had signed up for the Sweet Romance Reads read and review team and I received an email from Donna Fasano asking me if I would be interested in reading and reviewing this book. Upon reading the brief description of the book, I thought it would be something I would enjoy reading so I agreed to read and review it.

I was totally not disappointed. The story was well written and heart-warming. Although sometimes it is interesting to read a book with lots of steamy and sexy sex scenes, it was really g...more

Take Me, I'm Yours is such a wonderful quick read. I would have read it in one sitting if I didn't have to go back to work.

She thinks nothing of it, there are families around but her son is insistent that she is lost and when a man grabs her Brian says that's she's being kidnapped. Lainey runs after them and ends up getting the little girl back and taking her to her gran...more

I signed up for the Sweet Romance and Review team. I received an email from Donna Fasano asking if I wanted to read and review this book. I am always up for anything so I said yes.

I enjoyed this book. It was truly a sweet read. Lainey and Derek are brought together by his late Father. He felt that Lainey deserved a chance to reach her dreams and knew the secret to life that his son needed. I liked how their relationship developed and that they were accepting of each one another's children. This...more

This story starts out with Lainey & Brian. Add Derek and his daughter Abbey. Lainey gets the chance she's always dreamed of. This is her chance at a stable life for her & her son. Her first meeting with Derek doesn't go well a few months later we find out why. Lainey & Derek have to work together. Lainey helps show him what's lacking with his relationship with Abbey. This leads to a question of maybe more than friendship between them. Then Laynie hired T.C. This results in turning ev...more

Fun and quick read

Fun and quick read

This book was a fun and quick read for avid reader. The characters are endearing and the epilogue appreciated. Would have liked it more if it was a bit longer and the romance between Lainey and Derek more developed. Overall a decent read.

A wonderfully woven story of love conquering all.

Lainey befriends a stranger on a beach after his grandchild is almost abducted.

When the stranger dies he bequeaths her generously for her heroism. Her new found wealth leads her to open a daycare centre allowing a lifelong dream to come true. But her wealth comes with stipulations. Enter the stranger's son, Derek, to whom Lainey is instantly attracted.

Throw into the mix Abbie, Derek's adorable young daughter and you think the story is heading for...more

I enjoy reading outside my own genre and sub-genre, and every so often I want to read a sweet romance. I picked up Take Me, I'm Yours because the blurb intrigued me and I'm a sucker for a good premise. Well, Ms. Fasano's story delivered on all counts. Sweet, but not insipid, romantic, but not gushy, with a touch of mystery thrown in for good measure, but nothing overly violent. Near perfect for my reading mood. If you like sweet romance with a touch of mystery, give this book a try.

Growing up the third child of five—yes, smack dab in the middle and the only girl to boot—Donna Fasano had no idea she would one day be a published author. Her story-telling talents came to light when she conjured lively and elaborate tales of pure blarney (yes, she has a bit of Irish in her blood) for, first, her youngest brother, and years later, her children.

Donna sold her first manuscript in 1...more
