My 6 year old son purchased this book from his school book fair.

Olivia is trying to paint a picture of her brother Ian, but he will not stay still. As she looks for something else to paint, she finds some ducklings that can not reach their mother. Also based on the TV series Olivia, kids will love this story about the ducklings that followed Olivia home. She tried to paint Ian, but he kept moving so she painted the ducks instead. They liked her so much that they followed her home! Oh how she wishes she could keep them, but instead they get to spend the afternoon together playing hide-and-seek and reading a story. This is charming story that beginning readers will love! This book also has the picture above the word to be read to help with ...more

This book is great for beginning readers. The pictures and words match really well together. Olivia and Ian encounter some ducks who end up following the two pigs home! What will happen next? Will Olivia be able to keep the ducks? What kinds of games will they play? Such a cute story. =)
My daughter is in Kindergarten (but she reads closer to a second-grade level), and she loved this book. This is a great purchase for the young reader's home library, especially if she is a fan of Olivia!
Cute story, and one way to motivate my kiddo to practice reading (not that he doesn't love it anyway) is to find books with characters he loves. This fits the bill.

A Very sweet story, yet simple enough text that our four-year-old read it the second time through!
TV show tie in books are never as exciting as the original story books or the actual TV shows.
Daughter Ella loves Olivia!
Colorful fun early readers.
