Kat Justice runs to her friends rescue only to find her dead when she arrives, and the killer is still in the house! Thankfully Kat had called for back up before going into the house. Mitch Elliot arrives just in time to save Kat from the same fate as her friend.

Kat used to be partners with Mitch before she started working for the Justice Agency, the business owned and operated by her family. Kat is still hurt by his rejection of her crush on him and is anything but happy that he assigns himself
This series/author may not be for me. Like the last book, the romance is predicated on an old flame. It should have been a bit different, because the first couple had been in a serious relationship, while this one had been a crush ending in rejection. So why did nothing ever feel different? I would have loved to see Kat dealing with the leftovers of her crush while Mitch realised entirely new feelings because his rejection had been sincere.

But no. Of course not. It looked the same as Jennie and

Kat Justice finds herself in a tough situation. Her friend is murdered and Kat needs to find the murderer because he is now after her, but who is her enemy and what does he have against Kat to want her dead? And to make matters worse, the detective on the case is an old crush of Kat’s, Mitch Elliot. Will her old crush come alive and sparks fly, or is Mitch still not interested?

I thoroughly enjoyed this intriguing inspirational suspense from Susan Sleeman. After reading th

WOW! Fantastic Christian suspense!

When her client and old college friend is murdered, P.I. Kat Justice knows the killer will come for her next. Her survival depends on finding her unknown enemy first…and working with homicide detective Mitch Elliot, her onetime crust. It’ll take all her professional skills to ignore the sparks between them, but Kat can’t allow the handsome cop to get close. She’s seen too many people she loves die, so she vows just to do her job without getting emotionally invol
I love the Justice Agency, this group of young adults who are brothers and sisters via adoption. They formed their private investigation agency to solve the murder of their parents, and kept taking cases afterwards. Kat Justice is hired by her friend Nancy to investigate the murder of her brother, however it basically explodes in her face, when she is called to Nancy's home and finds her friend dead, and the assailant tries to kill Kat too. Her former partner on the police force, Tommy and his n ...more
Private Investigator Kat Justice arrived at her friend Nancy Bodig’s darkened house. After calling 911 and leaving a phone message for her former partner, Tommy, currently Mitch’s partner, she goes inside without backup and trips over her friend’s dead body. She’s jumped by Nancy’s killer, who attempts to inject her with a syringe to silence her, too—which turns out to be propofol. When Detective Mitch Elliot arrives at Nancy’s house, he phones Kat. The call interrupts the killer, and the car ch ...more

Dead Wrong (The Justice Agency) by Susan Sleeman

Last night I finished reading the newest Justice Agency book No Way Out. I realized that their was a Justice Agency book I had not read. So around midnight I ordered Dead Wrong and was just going to read a chapter or two. Finally around three I could not keep my eyes open any longer and first thing this am I finished reading it. I enjoyed it and had a hard time laying it down.

The plot was full of drama and action. You did not realize who or

Hello again, Friends. I just finished reading the second book in Susan Sleeman’s Justice Agency series, Dead Wrong. It was definitely worth the wait. I was afraid that maybe because it had been a few months in between reading the first and the second that I would forget a lot of the characters, etc., but I was able to pick right up where I left off as though I read the two books back to back. It delivered as much, or more so than the first book and definitely set things up for the next book in t ...more

This book started with lots of Action, and didn’t let up till the last page. The reason for the name “dead wrong” is because everything both Kat, and Mitch thought about life, was wrong. Reevaluating their life, while dealing with past issues, and baggage, they came to realize what they had thought, was wrong. Mitch, and Kat felt guilt for past things that happened. Working together as a team they helped each other though the guilt, and emotions of the past. Neither Mitch, or Kat wanted a relati ...more
Kat Justice, private investigator and former detective, tries to solve the mystery of why and who murders her client and college friend. Surviving an assault by the same person who kills her friend, Kat knows he will try again to kill her. Identifying the killer is intense but knowing the why of the crime is another avenue the detectives travel. Since Kat is the target, she receives permission to be in on the case as an observer, working with a former coworker on the police force. A lot of myste ...more

Compared to the last "love inspired" book I read, this was a masterpiece, but, in actuality, it was a pretty average story. The sad thing is the female protagonist wanted to be a strong character, but the author would not let her. No matter how hard the character tried, the author constantly had her "wimp out," and would not even let her be a woman, but girlish - "cute," "adorable" and so forth, and, at one point, she even has the character "pout." Not exactly the description of the action hero ...more
Love Inspired Suspense, The Justice Agency Series. A family owned PI business. Kat Justice is looking in to an accident that might be a murder. Then her friend Nancy is murdered and we need to find how things are connected. Is there a misunderstanding that leads to all of this trouble? Mitch/Tommy and Kat's family help solve the problem and of course there is love involved by the end.

It is nice to have a friend who is willing to share her easy to read, entertaining books that do give a Christia

I do love a good suspense, and Susan has come through for me once again. Dead Wrong is the second book in The Justice Agency series, but you don't need to read Double Exposure to enjoy this book, though I suggest you do simply because it's good.

It has enough twists and turns to keep you guessing, and enough romantic tension to keep you on the edge of your seat.

***I received this book from the publisher/author for purposes of review. The above is my honest opinion.***
Kat Justice - was investigating the murder of her friends brother, now her friend is dead and a killer is after her.

Mitch - is the homicide detective assigned to the case, Kat's former crush when she was a cop.

Loved this story - romance, suspense, faith and a powerful message on worry. I loved watching this relationship with all its ups and downs.

I read this book in a day and a half, it's a stand alone book although I haven't read the first in the series yet. Mitch and Kat are great characters in this suspense-filled story. There were some misunderstandings between them, but it was a perfect mix of romance, family love and twists that kept me glued to the book until the end!

A solid police detective novel that kept me turning pages until the end. The male lead had a sister who was a drug addict, which I liked since it added an angle you don't usually see in Inspirational fiction.

Great for fans of shows like CSI NY, Common Law, etc.

Is a good read a bit slow for me, but it was fun. Only think it took a lot for the character to let go of some problems but it was good read and the where very good character that the author work very well I enjoy it very much
I loved this book and this series has been a good one so far. Really looking forward to the others. Action packed. An enjoyable suspense novel by a very talented author. Read it. I think you'll like it.
This book was incredible. The content was clean, and the romance was completely appropriate. Sleeman did a wonderful job of working the suspense and the romance together. I could hardly put it down.
Reader is thrown head first into the story in the first few sentences. Lots of action, mystery, suspense and romance
