I love Connolly's writing, which explains why I'm sticking with this story even though his descriptions of despicable people doing despicable things can be hard to swallow sometimes. I had to read Lauren Graham's recollections of Gilmore Girls to try and scrub my mind in between books in this collection. Even though I don't love the main protagonist, I still persist with this series for Connolly's writing and the promise of further adventures.

I just finished a black angel I really couldn't get into it and I didn't finish it and that's unusual for me it was just too confusing
