Very good book. I liked both Jack and Willow though each had their parts I didn't like too. Jack is the celebrity host of Willow's show and the guy that stood her up for prom in high school. Now he's all grown up, super good looking and too charming to be real in her opinion. He is a workaholic who considers himself to be a loner. He enjoys women, but doesn't get serious about anyone. He has decided he wants Willow and will do whatever he needs to to have her. He doesn't understand why she keeps ...more

More Exciting Than a Matchmaking Reality Show? Sneaking Behind the Scenes!
Great story, fun premise, powerful emotional punch

I was so lucky to sneak an advanced copy of this book before it was released. The book's premise had a delicious irony that drew me in before I even started reading it: A producer of a reality matchmaking show who hasn't found her perfect match. She thought she'd found him back in high school, until he stood her up on prom night. Unfortunately, she hasn't found anyone who'

Jack and Willow have know each other since high school and have just recently reunited on the set of Willow's television show. Willow wants revenge for Jack's past mistakes, mistakes that Jack doesn't even remember. As Willow and Jack spend day, and long heated nights together they start to realize that love is more important than they once believed.

Jack and Willow have a very intriguing relationship. With past events and heated emotions many forces ar

This was not a book for me. Both of the main characters held back so much throughout the while book. They were both falling for each other but doing nothing to work towards making thier relationship move forward. They kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and get hurt. And yes, both of them were doing this. I felt very sad for them.

I don't feel like I can give any stars to this cause even though I didn't care for the characters, it was a well written story that had me completing it rather tha

This book had some strong negatives and strong positives, which ended up evening out for me. Sometimes I didn't want to finish the book, and sometimes I felt really excited about it. In the end, I'm glad I made it through but do not think I'm going to go track down the rest of the series it's in.

--The initial conflict is compelling. These characters have a past with each other, and I wanted to know what it was.

--The characters both have real flaws. The heroine feels unusual and fresh

This book started out interesting... But towards the end the 'psychoanalysis of themselves' got on my nerves!
It was a book that could have ended earlier
Without me wondering 'how was it that both the characters were so hurt that even knowing clearly where they stood...they acted totally stupid!
Also, the female protagonist was quite immature to want revenge...for something that could hurt a person but seeing as to what extent it actually mattered after all those years could only mean

I took way too long to read such a short book! But the story just wasNt conpellng enough to make me really want to finish it. The whole revenge thung didn't make sense to me. Way wait years to get back at him. And for something so petty that could have been cleared up at school the following week. But anyway, I couldn't identify with any of the characters. They struggled too much with learning one lesson. By the middle, though probably befor that, I was ready for them to get over their commitmen ...more

I thought Calling All the Shots was a good read but not totally addictive.
I really liked the main characters, Willow & Jack. The sexual tension between them is rather hot & also the actual sex scenes too.
The storyline felt real to me, not over the top or anything which was good but it was lacking a certain something that I can't quite place.
I would recommend this book to all romance readers.

3,5 stars.
Not bad.A couple of regular working people trying to share their life despite the past experiences. The thing is, there was an aura of pain and sadness that poisoned their minds, especially the heroine's.It cast a dark shadow over them and caused too much angst.
If you like this stuff, it's a good book.
