Very good book. Hope is a photographer who has been sent to Blake's therapeutic riding center to take photographs for him. She doesn't really want to be there, but she can't say no to her grandmother. I liked both Blake and Hope. Blake uses his ranch to make things better for kids who have challenges. He can relate to them because of a disfiguring scar he has and because of the loss of his twin brother when he was younger. He can see that Hope holds herself back from getting involved with people ...more

This was a nice read. Hope was a photographer who'd come to Blake's ranch to take some pictures for a website he wants to set up. He runs a program at the ranch for mentally and physically challenged children. Hope is going through a difficult time. Six months earlier she lost her best friend in a house fire. She also struggles with family problems. Her two sisters are mad at her and her parents have never gotten along. For all intents and purposes, Hope raised her younger siblings because their ...more

Sleigh Ride with the Rancher is a wonderfully uplifting Christmas read full of ‘Hope’ and good cheer.

Hope’s story is the second book in a three-part ‘Holiday Miracles’ mini-series. This series tells the story of three sisters and their journey back to each other and finding love.

Hope McKinnon has no hope of ever finding what she's always wanted. She's too scared to reach out and grab life, preferring to hide behind the camera lens in search of the perfect photo image.

Blake Nelson has what he wants--but no one with whom to share his riding therapy ranch. That is, until Hope's grandmother offers Hope's photographic skills to improve Blake's website and other promotional materials.

The trick is getting Blake to see that Hope is who he wants and that Hope will finally allow

Possibly my favourite holiday book ever (so far anyways!) I always rely on Harlequin as of late if I want a really quick read where I can maintain my busy life but still satisfy my reading cravings. I don''t fit the demographic (single 26 year old male)and I accept that! Haha. But I' glad I give books like these a chance, because Donna Alward's "Sleigh Ride with the Rancher" was exactly what I needed to get me started in the Holiday cheer!

I read this book while drinking hot chocolate (adorned w

If you are looking for the perfect fairytale love story this is the book for you. What more can you ask for, Christmas spirit,a sexy rancher and the perfect love story.

Australian based photographer Hope promised her grandmother to help her out by doing a photoshoot in snowy Alberta. She is suppose to take pictures of a ranchers farm, but when she gets there she is struck by his rugged, yet handsome look. Somehow this man makes her blood boil and she has to fight hard to make the best out of the

I have never been a fan of the Mills and Boon style books. In saying that I have never actually read one until now.

Was I shocked when I read what was on these pages. It was an amazing book that I thoroughly enjoyed and has now given me the urge to read more in this genre of books.

What a fantastic Christmas love story that melted my heart. Hope the main character puts up her guard from the very star

When photographer Hope agrees to photograph Blake’s therapeutic ranch, love is everything she doesn’t want, she’s afraid to suffer more loss, to put her heart on the line again, but Blake knows a thing or two about emotional scars and he makes it his mission to break through Hope’s walls and help her truly live again.

Sleigh Ride with the Rancher offers up plenty of Christmasy fare, from decorating to shopping, and of course, the title sleigh ride, though to me, holidays and romance felt seconda

I'm a bit of a sucker for the tortured souls perspective. Hope and Blake are just full of issues. Neither wants to be with the other. But they like each other and they don't want too. Blake thinks Hope's stuck up. Hope thinks that Blake's too nice. Trying to keep distance doesn't work especially since Hope's job throws them together. It's a definite surprise read. Hope and Blake have not been happen in life. They have been emotionally traumatised by life. It's emotional reading. Enjoy!

Second in a trilogy - I'd read the first, by another author, and had forgotten this was part of the story. Now I need to find the third! But this was a great read, very solid, and I identified a little too strongly with the heroine. Great story.
