A fascinating account of Abu al Zarqawi, and how he is mythologized in the west as leader of "Al Qaeda in Iraq." Details the life of the terrorist as a criminal and thug, and later as a mujahid. Discusses his tenuous relationship with Zawahari and Al Qaeda organization, as well as the rise and fall of his own organization Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad, which would eventually become ISIS.
