This book contains some very good healthy information. It is not a book I would suggest you skipping through and just trying to start. It needs to be read thoroughly before starting the diet plan. It has a lot of good information and with this information it tells you the whys and how’s. Having read much medical literature related to weight loss and having attended medical conferences that deal with this topic, I immediately recognized the names of Bruce Bistrian and George Blackburn, weight loss researchers whom this author studied under. I have been out of the field lately and do not know this author's published medical journal articles though (if any). This is a high protein based meal plan and not recommended for individuals with kidney dysfunction.
I found this book really interesting. I don't know enough about the science to know how accurate all the claims are, but it made sense and I plan to give the diet a try now that I've read about it. I definitely recommend reading this book and learning about how the Overnight Diet works. I will report back on how trying the diet goes for me and if it results in the any weight loss.
