Having read much medical literature related to weight loss and having attended medical conferences that deal with this topic, I immediately recognized the names of Bruce Bistrian and George Blackburn, weight loss researchers whom this author studied under. I have been out of the field lately and do not know this author's published medical journal articles though (if any). This is a high protein based meal plan and not recommended for individuals with kidney dysfunction.
I found this book really interesting. I don't know enough about the science to know how accurate all the claims are, but it made sense and I plan to give the diet a try now that I've read about it. I definitely recommend reading this book and learning about how the Overnight Diet works. I will report back on how trying the diet goes for me and if it results in the any weight loss.
