This is one of many interpretations of the Kaugjagjuk legend by Marion Lewis who was born in Iqualuit, Nunavut. Her interpretation of the orphan boy who is taken in by a village and then horribly treated will be difficult for children to read and understand. But alas in the end he is helped by the Man on the Moon and learns to take control over his own destiny.
