Exceptionally written book by Jen Nixon that will have you hanging by a thread on every turn of the page. If you are looking for suspense, mystery,family values,and fighting your inner demons then you need to read Lucky's Charm."Spoilers"

Although, a book about a hit woman is a bold idea, I had a little problem understanding the main plot. But, even so, each time Lucky had to go out on a job, I found myself eating up the pages like the first meal of the week. Now, just looking at the title of the book will give you a feeling of something trivial, but get into the story, you'll find an ingenius explanation, and no trivialities whatsoever. The ending threw me completely - so much so, I'll be walking around for a couple of days shak...more

Lucky’s Charm by Jenn Nixon is a contemporary, interracial romance with an attention grabbing plot and extraordinary characters. I liked that I couldn’t figure out the plot, because a story with an unpredictable plot will hold my attention. Lucky’s Charm did that and then some. Both Lucky and Kenji are from multi-ethnicities and while their differences may be a problem for others, they embrace their differences. In fact, their line of work seems more problematic...more

Felicia has become a contract killer for “the network”. Jenn Nixon introduces us to a smart and tough assassin who finds herself in a woe of catastrophes, and essentially all on her own to deal with. She has issues all right, and the majority of them have to deal with borderline people that help and at the same time hinder her as she takes on one of her father's old cases.
Of course that means dealing with her father's old baggage too - and this baggage is lethal.

It's a fun book about a young woman who happens to be an assassin. It's a family business and there's lots of secrets as well as romance.
