This book gets one measley star because I took to heart a few of the initial things it said in the beginning, but then was MAJORLY turned off when it suddenly announced, basically, that you HAVE to be a vegetarian in order to truly 'love yourself' which is ridiculous. I am fully supportive of people who want to live that lifestyle, but to have it thrust on me as the 'magical answer to weight loss' is ludicrous. This has a definite spiritual tone throughout and Moran draws direct analogy to the 12-step program outlined by AA. This is more about self-esteem and not so much about specific diet and exercise guidance. She uses a gentle writing style.
