Eve Langlais is one of my go-to authors when I need some fluffy-fun. I can always count on her lighthearted take on paranormal romance to deliver a medicated dose of much needed humor - in fact I dare you to read one of her many stories without a smile plastered to your face. What's this? I read another one of Langlais's books even after swearing Never Again? Yeah, guilty as charged. All I can say is that a friend found me the entirety of the author's library and saw fit to send it to me, and the masochism drives me ever onward. Croc and the Fox wasn't nearly as bad as Jungle Freakn' Bride, but it still wasn't much fun.

My introduction to Eve Langlais was through her Cyborg Series and this was my first reading of her books beyond that. I am so glad that her particular blend of humor, passion and a touch of danger translated into her other books. This was a lighter paranormal shifter read which may not appeal to everyone, but I found it a nice satisfying change from my usual fare.

I bought this book and Ball of Furry at the same time. I have to rate them both about the same, 3.5 stars, but I think I'd give Ball of Furry a slight edge over Croc and the Fox. Croc was better written, but Ball did the best job of balancing the heavy and light moments.

Eve Langlais spins a perfect shifter tale with the third book in the Furry United Coalition series. OhMahGawd. This series just keeps getting better. I loved the bears pairing up with their respective ladies but Viktor is SO FREAKING FUN with his cold-blooded tendencies and his protective instinct that I can hardly contain myself. As an added plus, we get a whole lot of answers as to who is behind all the evil, experimental shenanigans. Oh, mastermind, you have taken me by surprise.

How does Eve Langlais always do this to me? Every time I pick up one of her books I just want to put the world on hold and just have me and the book world and nothing else. Croc and the Fox was amazing, and its somewhere in my top favorite Eve Langlais books!

I loved the characters. The pregnant bunny had me in tears.
The jokes came thick and fast, and so did the action.
3rd book in the series. I will have to go back and catch up.
I know there is a 4th book planned for This year.
I can't imagine being imprisoned for such a Length of time, that u actually forget who and what u r. But that is what project X had done.

Pontificating has been completed...
This is the third book and I personally feel that it can be read out of order. There is enough explanation in the beginning of the story to catch anyone up. To be honest this story starts like the day after the last story ended. Or really the day of.
The good: I really like Eve Langlais's stories. They are lighthearted, fun, and comical. The characters are likable and she writes them in a way that you want to get to know them more.

Another great F.U.C.'d novel! I love this series and the crazy bunch of shifters in the F.U.C. agency. Viktor has been one of my favorites from the first book on and I loved watching him find his mate it the timid "little" fox he names Renee.
Croc and the Fox continues the hilarious mixed up couplings of shifters. Can a "crusty old croc" find love with a too young, too innocent fox shifter that can't even remember life out side of a lab?

Once again another winner in my book by Eve Langlais! I always have a great time reading her books and end up with sore cheeks from laughing and smiling at the characters antics and the humor Eve always supplies for her readers. This is the third book in the series, but can definitely be read as a stand alone however I think one would enjoy it even more if they read the first two and got the build up of Viktor’s character as well as the others that are involved. I am loving this series with it's mixed couplings, book 1 gave us a bunny & a bear, book 2 gave us a swan & a bear and in this installment we have a crocoldile and a fox! I am curious about the giraffe shifter though!

This book was definitely different. It was about shifters and their coalition and the originzation was named FUC (Furry United Coalition). I got this book free on allRomance when they were doing the 12 days of Christmas. I didn't realize this was a series so this is actually book 3 in this series. It's hilarious and laughed out loud on some of the parts. There are suspenseful moments and there are tender moments. This is really fun book to read.
I love Eve Langlais, and only discovered her stories in the last year so I'm still catching up. Croc and The Fox is such a cool read for so many reasons. The characters are complex-- so complex-- but in a fascinating way. The author makes us believe a fox shifter and a big ole crocodile shifter can somehow not only exist but fall in love. Anyone who loves shifter stories should read not only this story, but the entire series.
I loved this story. I liked the characters in the story. The Fox, Renee was so sweet. The Croc, Viktor was so tough and rough to everyone except Renee. I could easily see her anchoring herself to Viktor and not letting go. She just felt so safe with him. I laughed and laughed at that part of the story, and watched while Viktor's heart melted bit by bit around Renee.

oh man, I came across this series (Furry United Coalition) as I was compiling reads for my vacation. Book one in this series sounded interesting and was recommended to me so I gave it a go...and how happy am I that I did?! In the span of 5 days I read books 1-3 and I cannot wait for the next title. This story was a light read but super entertaining and engaging. And to tell you the truth I couldn't wait till my vacation to read them - they were too tempting!
Cute shifter story. I liked the set up of the girl who had been a prisoner/science test subject so long that she was scared of the outside world and clung to the gruff hero to protect her. This like most of EL's stuff is on the lighthearted farcical side. I was a bit disappointed that the hero never actually turned into a crocodile. I was kind of looking forward to that.

Cute enough, kind of weird. I understand a lot of it is a style choice, which is cool but there were some consistency issues. I felt it needed more commitment to the style to be fully successful.
If you come across it, I'd say sure read it! Not a bad book, but not fantastic. Good free read, but I can't see myself purchasing anything from this author in the future :(

So I fell in love with Eve Langlais due to her Alien Abduction series and Cyborg series. However, this is probably in my top 3 of my favorite books by her. Why? Take one scared and slightly crazy fox shifter add in an sometime ornery crocodile and you get an amazingly sweet book. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great author and a sweet read.
Hold on to your Croc or is it Fox? Despite the horrors of weres being used as laboratory experiments this book is filled with laughter. Obvious puns and even the Muahahaha of Mastermind keep you giggling. Hot sex, munching and crunching, and giggles are all that is required to lighten up an otherwise tedious day. I will be looking for more books from this author.
I loved this installment and Renee was adorable! The perfect mis of vunerable and naive, I loved how she got under Viktor's skin and just blurted things out all the time cause she didn't realise that some things just weren't approprite to be said in public! I notice that the end has stated that there will be a fourth book in the series and I can't wait to read it!
Eve Langlais just rocks. That's it. Great humor, fun characters and smexy times. It's hard to top it.

I put off reading this for a while. Though it would be a little weird. I am so glad I read it. I loved it. I laughed so hard in some parts. The way Renee got over everything that happened to her was awesome as well. I'm glad Viktor finally got over the age differences and all the other things he was using to keep them apart.
Ms. Langlais does it once again, never disappointing her readership by packing the Croc and the Fox with subtle humor, eroticism, love, discovery of one’s self, and emphasizing how true devotion can change the paths we take in life. Read More...
