How many of us dreamed of meeting our favorite cover model, and to have them a vampire is an added plus at least it would be for me. Except Dean (Deanna) doesn't see it that way, she is dragged to the book signing by her best friend. Paranormal just isn't her thing (what's wrong with this girl? ) okay sorry about that. There is an instant attraction between Burn (isn't that just a cool name) and Dean. Though Burn knows why and Dean doesn't so that leaves her confused.

This book was a hard fought battle within my mind. I was on the verge of deeming this book "cliche" and very much predictable (which it kinda was). I really am tired of reading all the Twilight references in books. It gets tiresome after a while.

Karyn Gerrard`s `My Vampire Cover Model' is such a great little novella, its perfect for this time of year!
You can grab a nice hot cup of coffee or warm apple cider and have a seat and an hour later you have read the entire book and it's a great little break!

Delightfully accepting of the campy nature of the PNR stories, this novella is a light, quick and fun read with engaging characters and a cute storyline. Lightly reminiscent of the Lestat as rockstar scenes by Anne Rice, we meet Burn who now is posing as a romance cover model. His current assignment is for a vampire series, and he is on a signing tour when he meets his destiny in the form of the author’s niece.

Who wouldn’t enjoy to be in Deanna’s place? This novella is involved with romance reader’s dreams and imagination! What if this would be true? What if the fantasy became real? This book creates these possibilities and answers the questions.

The title itself intrigued me enough to read this book, and once I opened it, it did not disappoint. The depth of each character brought them to life, and you could almost picture the expressions on their faces….feel the press of bodies inside the book store. I particularly loved how Ms. Gerrard slowly put the two of them together. Revealing his lonely past, and need for his soulmate.

Ah, Burney... I'm hard pressed to write a coherent review other then to grin like a silly oaf and sigh to myself. I love tortured hero vamps, and Karyn writes them very well indeed. This is a fab, sexy, little story with a very swoon worthy hero and an intriguing take on vamps. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Fun, short read. At 66 pages, it's a short novella but the story feels really complete at that length. Of course, after the joyous reunion, I suppose Dean's conversion is implied? Along with any anger Dean may feel about Burn's erasing her memory thereby causing her to fear that she may be going crazy due to her dreams? I sure would chew him out if I were Dean.
What a delightful hot romance story. This will make any reader, author or bloggers day better because Karyn brings to life a cover hot model that will have you laughing and saying oh yeah, I could see that happening. I truly enjoyed reading this novella with great characters and hot story. I recommend this to any one that wants a fun, hot quick read.

I just couldn't get into this story. I did not care about the characters.

Short but entertaining.
A fun, romance with a sexy vampire cover model hero, Burn was hot! I loved the romances between him and Deanna. Love the cover too!
