While I didn't like it as much as the previous book, this was a solid follow-up of Alicization beginning. The first part of the book is filled with explanations, and while that might sound boring, it did manage to clear up many of the mysteries of the last book.
It is in these parts that the philosophical aspects of AI are discussed. And that is a part of why I liked this less than the previous one. In this book, it is all done in conversations, while in the beginning, Kirito is the one that fee

Sword Art Online: Alicization Running

The second book the Alicization Arc. To sum up the book it is Kirito and Eugeo getting closer to their objective of the Central Cathedral, and training their swordsmenship. It goes through how they won Norlangarth North area Swordsmanship competition, and entered the Sword Mastery Academy. It also hints at the truth of the Axiom Church, which is the religious group that rules the world.

This book really shows the development of the characters, and

In short... I cannot wait for book 11. The Alicization arc was rather touching and as usual it is very detailed when it comes to thoughts and depictions.

All comments on other 9 books applied, and I noticed that the author is good at choosing which time to fast-forward and which one to slow down and explicate. That makes it enriching. Even the descriptions of how the skills work and how the laws of the world operate are well done.

Before you read, this review has its spoilers

.
It still has its flaws, since the writer is still young that should not be that bad, I think so. Well, the concept is rather interesting as well as the idea of using cloned "souls" and its moral implications, besides, thanks to the way all the interaction with fluctlights is shown through the eyes of Kirito you can feel them as if they were actually alive, as always, Kirito is overpowered, but however this time you can see him as a helper than like t

the first part is filled with explanations and stuff....if you're patient enough, it will be a bit interesting for you. i found some points interesting and some points lagging oh well.

as for the second and third part, they were really eventful and i enjoy them a lot wow

More experiments and discussions are included in this episode. The creation of "fruchlight," extraction of duplicated soul, and "Under World" is very interesting. But Kirito's sympathy for AI's right is a bit intriguing.

I read the English Translation. Starts to pick up and gets a little into the action. We follow the protagonist as we find out what's his situation after being stuck in the Virtual Reality for 2 years.

Yeah, looks like this change is for good. As an AI student, the ideas in Alicization looks quite interesting.

The biggest problem of the previous book returns worse than ever - massive info-dumps of big words that .. lets face it, just aren't very good
Yes, "Project Alicization" is basically growing an AI (Skynet? GLaDOS?) using quasi-cloned brains and plugging them into Civilizations video game (not exactly, close enough!) There, I just saved you chapters of sludge

Then we dive back to Kirito's POV and the pace kicks off running. Everything is entertaining again!

The first half of this book is little more than exposition and a trite commentary on AI rights. The author really needed to weave in his info dumps (or omit them altogether; seriously, they served no purpose) and put the bit about AI rights into the novel itself. Y'know, like he's been doing with Yui since the first book?

As always, the translation is shit and near unreadable, but I don't hold that against it.

Good plot... while i was reading this i got a typically good explanation of events occurring. Mr Kawahara knows how to manipulate the timeline well. Appeals very well to the sense of of imagination readers have. this is one good book. im looking forward to reading more of the next volumes

Good. Great. I'm loving the arc.
And THE BLACK SWORDSMAN is back in black (uniform). \o/ Why do I care about that so much? Dunno. But I do. It's not Kirito in white or blue.

Loved the manga, and it's anime.

I actually read the manga, and watched it's anime. Both are awesome.
