I thought that "The Brink of Oblivion" by Jason Maurer was an ok book. The main character had a very real life struggle to deal with and in turn seems to stop caring about a lot of things. The plot was very twisted at times but interesting. I think the book should have been longer as this was all to much to put into such a short book. I started writing when I was eleven or twelve, when my mother bought me one of those cheap toy knockoffs of a laptop, but the good thing about it was the kid-friendly version of a word processor.
