I recently bought this book at a craft show and when I stopped to look at the book, I was amazed at how different it was from most ABC books. It actually teaches a philosophy of how to live and be kind, respectful, etc. also while teaching your child the abc's! I loved it instantly. I bought two copies, then went back the next day and bought two more for gifts. Cudos to the authors and illustrator of this book for all the time and effort they put into this!
I read Alphabet Living to my children before bed tonight. Not only did they enjoy it, but the looks on their faces meant they were seeing these things too. I think we are going to read this book every night for our bedtime book. The words are written so beautifully that the children are understanding them. It is full of everything I try to teach them. Oh wow, what a totally awesome, inspiring, uplifting book. I just received it today and just had to read it right away. The illustrations are done so that even the youngest child gets the message just from the pictures. I love the poem at the end and the message from Hobo Dan. This is a must read for all children no matter what their age. If we could all remember the word used for each letter of the alphabet, and live our lives by the ABC's, the world would be a far better place. I also love the...more
Just received Alphabet Living last week and in a word GORGEOUS! The colors are so vibrate, the poems so incredibly meaningful and the illustrations so very fun & cute!!! You've truly created a powerful book!! So not just a kids book, this is something kids & adults a like should read! Seriously if you haven't already check it out!! I absolutely promise you won't regret it!
