As per his ad, Ryan Hawke is a 32 year old Marine who has just returned from a tour of duty. He's 6'3", 180 pounds of solid muscle, and in need of some TLC. His demanding job and frequent traveling don't allow him the time for relationships. One lucky lady who meets his criteria will certainly have the time of her life.

Julie Saunders is a registered nurse. Usually she would be the one for relationships, but her job also hasn't contributed positively to her love life. At least not in the last ten months. Ryan sounds like just the guy to help her take the edge off. For a week, they send emails back and forth before finally settling on a time and place to meet. After Julie's BFF does her version of a security check, she waves the green flag and Julie and Ryan are a GO! They waste absolutely no time getting down to business, and I do mean no time at all. It's hard and fast, and oh so good.

Ryan deserves a medal for his stamina alone! At only 29 pages (on my Kindle Fire), there is no plot or character advancement beyond the one night stand, but I knew that going in, and I don't care! The author has thoroughly seduced me and left me a panting mess with this sexy, hot quickie. I loved it, and I will be reading more from this author. Now I'm going to hunt down my DH.

The cover did not do this short read justice! I thoroughly enjoyed this story of two people with little time and large libidos who meet up for a casual encounter after placing and responding to an ad. The ad and the emails exchanged between the two at the beginning were genius and quickly drew me in. It had a believable feel to it that I've found lacking in some erotica shorts. At times the dialogue between Ryan and Julie did seem a bit too formal for a contemporary setting but this was something that could be overlooked.

No Strings Attached is part of the Edge series, a series I now plan to familiarize myself with. This was my first read by author Jennifer LaBelle but it won't be my last.

If you're looking for a really quick, really hot, and really great read - you don't want to pass this little gem up!

REVIEW: This is a short hot and entertaining read that will make you wonder what would it be like to have a one night stand. Author Jennifer Labelle gives us a glimpse into the world of online dating and one that have proven quite beneficial to some. I liked how she exploited the idea of meeting someone and making the best out of that meeting by going into the unknown and finding an awesome surprise. This is a very visual and explicit read, totally hot and naughty. Ryan and Julie are two sexual being who hit the jackpot when they meet. Both characters were funny, sexy and sexual. I recommend it if you are looking to escape and live vicariously through the worlds of Jennifer Labelle Stories of sex and fun.

Not only did I fully enjoy No Strings Attached I also found myself wishing and hoping for more of Julie and Ryan's sexual relationship. Though this book was rather short it had enough grip and lure to keep me quite interested through till the end. Julie and Ryan both had such great chemistry that you knew they were an instant match from the second they met. No Strings Attached is a combination of friends with benefits and men in uniform and I LOVED IT. I can't wait to see what else Ms. Labelle has in store for me!

Where oh where to begin?! This is a hot little piece, and it's good. This reads like a night out when I was in my 20's and I love it! It's not your average smut read! There's something to it. There's a story. I got done reading this and wanted to rush home and see my husband. (alas, I'm at work and can't do that) But, if you're looking for a little steam, here it is! Jennifer really has a way with words!
