This short story is approximately a little over 20 odd pages and very, very short. It is told from the point of view of Estella, Vampire Queen of the Rejected.
Lucy, Estella's zombie lover, has brought her dinner-YOU, the reader- and before the two ladies feast on your body, Estella tells you a short macabre tale that has no happily ever after.

It is the story of Seren and Owen, two friends who never became lovers and is about how a wrong decision in life carries over to one in death...and lets l...more

******* THIS IS AN EROTIC NOVELLA. PLEASE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO READ THIS REVIEW *******

First I would like to thank FMB blog tours for allowing me to read and review Bittersweet Symphony. I had no idea that such a short Novella could pack so much punch! I have not read the first two books and it is highly recommended because I was a little lost but once I got what the story was I really enjoyed it.

This is a novella told from the point of view of the Vampire Queen who is telling a story to her zom...more

I received a copy of this book from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review, and all conclusions are my own responsibility.

While part of an ongoing series, this short story delves into a long-standing relationship between a Vampire queen and her smart mouthed zombie minion. I’ve can definitely say I have NOT read my fair share of erotica. It’s a genre I enjoy, I mean who doesn’t but it’s just not something I find myself picking up often. Fortunately I decided to read this during Dewey’s 24 hour read a thon. Perfect book to read because it’s short, fun, and a bit twisted.

Actually I forgot that this was a Tales From the Coffin when I started reading. It was a little gory but not too bad for anyone squeamish. I’m a poor judge because I am really not squeamish at all b...more

A large part of this book was spent trying to figure out what the heck was going on. This is my first JoAnne Kenrick read and I was unfamiliar with her "Tales from the Coffin" series and how it was structured, much like a theatrical performance.
The story within the story way okay. The sex was hot, but it was overall hard to follow.
