A worthy sequel in this series! The timing of the book makes it feel like it should have been the second book and not the third, though.

Absolutely adored Toby. Jacques is a pompous ass that should have been shot a long time ago...but in the end you come to love him too. There were times in the book that I just wanted to kill him!

Alas, for me, it was a great book, though Zacky and Tyr will probably always be favourite...
She's baaack! This book was a vast improvement over the 2nd installment. Still plenty of sex without overwhelming the book with too many unnecessary scenes, as in the last book. Really loved both of the main characters in this one. I was also happy to see that some of the gaps were filled in between what happened with the pack right after the first book ended.

My eyes, my poor eyes! They were brutally attacked by this horrible cover, they lost their innocence, they're never going to be the same.
I kept thinking it would be nice to see things from Toby's perspective too, but a great read nevertheless.

My mother likes to boast that I was reading at the age of three. I'm not sure if that's strictly true but my childhood memories are mostly of being indoors with a book of some description. I distinctly remember having a Ladybird copy (English young children's books) of Dracula so I think my tastes were set quite early. Like a friend once said, while other young girls wanted to be ballerinas, I kin...more
