WOW! This book is packed with fun and excitement.

I like the fact that it is written in a narratice way so we get the best of both worlds. Hah!

Dylan is a billionaire who was forced to take a holiday by his brother. His idea of a holiday is to be a dancer in a cruise ship for 3 months where he met Michaela, the cruise director.

I love Michaela's character strong and independent but strong women had weaknesses too, for example MEN. Dylan is the last person Michaela needs, she is too focused on be...more

Lord Entangled has done it again! The Boss and Her Billionaire is a fast and fun read. I have to say that Entangled has put out some great reads and every time I pick one up I am not disappointed!

In TBAHB we meet Michaela is career driven and focused. She has set out to prove to the all male dominant group that women can run a company and be successful. They don't need a man in their life to dictate policy because they can run the show. Michaela certainly achieves that and more. Michaela does no...more

When I read the synopsis of this book, it was an automatic “must read” for me. Being a cruise lover, a romance novel that takes place among the staff of a cruise ship, there was no doubt I’d enjoy it and I did. Michele de Winton is a new to me author but after reading The Boss and Her Billionaire, I’ll be checking out her other offerings soon.

Billionaire CEO Dylan Johns is forced to take an extended vacation when his older brother comes home and decides he needs Dylan gone so he can fix his marriage and start running the family investment company he walked away from. Deciding he isn't the type who can relax and lounge on a beach with a book, Dylan instead auditions to be a dancer on a cruise ship. While he has no professional experience as a dancer, he's able to improvise and land a spot with the ship's entertainment team.

Michaela is a hard working woman, her sight is set at the top of the corporate ladder. She has no time for relationships, or sex even. Really, that is at the bottom of her priorities if that. She can almost taste her triumph, she knows it's just a matter of months or another year even before she can prove anyone who's a male how a woman like her can make it to the top and do a job a thousand times better than a man can. All is great and good until she meets Dylan, a new dancer in her cr...more

I really liked the book though it was a bit predictable. Michaela is a workaholic cruise director with a steeled heart. Dylan is a workaholic with love for family but with a disbelief in love and Happily Ever After. In order to help his brother and sister in law try to reconnect he needs to leave for three months to allow them to solve their problems. Dylan a former dancer joins a cruise ship as a dancer to keep his mind and body busy. Michaela and Dylan are instantly attracted to each other but...more

When I first heard about this, I was like HELL YES. I mean, have you read the book's summary? Cruise ship, no strings fling that turns serious, and fun onboard romance? Yes please! Now, after I finished this read, I wasn't blown away by it, but it was still very enjoyable to read.

The characters do take a little time to warm to them and I have to admit by the very end, I still wasn't very interested in them. I liked them enough to want to conti...more

I enjoyed this book. It was a nicely written quick tropical escape. The characters are really well written, their stories are fleshed out nicely and they are fantastic together. I love the backgroundish stuff you learn about each character. I like seeing them separate and I loved the different POVs used throughout the book.

I read this book in two...more

Ms. de Winton’s debut takes the undercover tycoon to new level. Dylan Johns has been dragged into another fight between his big brother Brian and his wife Lilly. As usual, Dylan Johns rescues Lily as he has been doing for the past 10 years. Therefore, he makes the decision that Brian, his big brother, will head the company with his mother for the next three months and Dylan will have the chance to live his dreams as a dancer.

I really enjoyed The Boss and Her Billionaire. It was a romance with ups and downs and there were moments that I wasn't sure if we'd have our Happily Ever After. There were moments were I wasn't even sure if I wanted them to be together. I had some issues with Dylan and the way he acted. In the end he pulled his act together but I felt like he should have been made to grovel.

Michaela Western is a cruise director and has been dealing with a snarky captain ever since she ended their affair. An aff...more

Entangled Publishing did it again! They have taken another GREAT author on board.

First book by Michele de Winton and i'm sure it isn't gonna be the last one, the caracters in this book were just great.. Michaela was in the eyes of many people just like a iceberg, so avoid her at all costs, Dylan on the other hand had something totally diverent in his mind :) In the end they both showed eachother that there is more to life than work..

Would have loved to see a Epilogue in the end.. OR maybe a sec...more

This book is about a summer romance that became more than expected. It feels very much like an Harlequin book, but needed a bit more love and fun between these two for me to really enjoy the relationship.

Michaela is a gorgeous woman that doesn’t have fun in life and believes only work is going to make her happy. She had a bad relationship with a married man and now is working with him, so her work place is not the best, plus she lives abroad in a c...more

This book started out with a lot of promise...A shipboard romance between the Curise director and a billionaire moonlighting as a dancer on his forced vacation from his Family.

But, alas midway through it lost a bit of steam, the story seemed to move along a bit slow at times. I liked the shipboard romance, but once Michaela and Dylan's romance moved from the Cruise ship to Sydney it kinda lost me. I didn't care much for Dylan just up and leaving all the ti...more

So with this book. I am sorry to give it a low review but from the beginning I was not hooked and felt the story hard to believe. A financial guy who is a secret dancer. This story had so much potential but I was unfortunately let down. I also think the side story of the sister in law could have easily been dropped as it did not really help me with the characters growth.

I see that others have given this book great reviews so I am just one opinion. Sorry

A predictable book? Yes. Did that take away from the story? No. It was well written and the characters were strong, Michaela was, Dylan a little flaky. I enjoyed the cruise ship setting and I LOVED the Sydney setting. That has been the one place I really want to visit one day. This book reminds me of The Love Boat- the theme song is stuck in my head now :-)

I'm rating this on behalf of my wife! She wouldn't put it down until she'd finished it and now she wants more de Winton to read. Get scribbling Michele!

Cruise director Michaela Western dabbled in an affair on the cruise ship once before learning never to do it again. When Dylan Johns arrives as a dancer, she can’t help herself from appreciating his firm body and good looks, but that is where it stops. Dylan however finds himself compelled to learn more about the lovely but temperamental Michaela. Not a man for commitment, especially after witnessing his brothers disastrous marriage, Dylan seduces Michaela into a no-strings affair, but he has no...more

Was a lovely story very fast paced but a bit unbelievable in places but I still enjoyed it, a good read.

Really lost interest when Dylan had to be a dancer. Kind of lost the billionaire charm to me

Decent read but the end seemed to be hurried.

3 stars. It wasn't a bad book. But I wasn't hooked into the story frop the begining til the end. I couldn't feel or imagine the characters.

Some steamy moments for sure!

I've been known to be an all round arty type and it's no wonder my first romance has a little sparkle of the stage tucked into its pages. Being a writer was not was I was supposed to be when I ‘grew up' but then neither was being a dancer. Sometimes my performing past jumps into of the dress up box and requires attention. But most of the time I'm content to stay in my PJs. All day. And I also thin...more
