WOW! This book is packed with fun and excitement.

I like the fact that it is written in a narratice way so we get the best of both worlds. Hah!

Lord Entangled has done it again! The Boss and Her Billionaire is a fast and fun read. I have to say that Entangled has put out some great reads and every time I pick one up I am not disappointed!

Being a cruise lover, a romance novel that takes place among the staff of a cruise ship, there was no doubt I’d enjoy it and I did. Michele de Winton is a new to me author but after reading The Boss and Her Billionaire, I’ll be checking out her other offerings soon.

Dylan Johns needs to get away from his current life. He sees an opportunity to audition as a dancer for a cruise line. Because he had to give up his dream of dance school and dance as a profession, he seizes the opportunity and soon finds himself employed as a dancer. No one knows his background and the ship is the perfect place for him to “get away” for the next three months.

Michaela Winters is the only woman cruise director in the company. She’s tough but fair and has a reputation as a task master. She’s also trying to recover from an affair with the captain. When Dylan appears on her ship the attraction is immediate but she has no intentions of getting involved with a fellow crew member again.

It was fun imagining this relationship taking place on a busy cruise ship with the non-stop activity and the very busy schedule that the crew maintains. Because I’ve been on a “behind the scenes” tour of a ship, the description of the staff canteen and living quarters were fairly accurate which I greatly appreciated.

Both Dylan and Michaela are career driven so it was no surprise when their careers got in the way of their personal relationship. When Dylan leaves the ship sooner than expected, I was curious if and how they’d wind up back together. The author did a good job of moving the story and making the move believable.

What I loved most about this story is that both characters really listened to the other one. They didn’t judge, they offered advice, and they encouraged the other to live their dreams and not be afraid to go after everything they wanted out of life. How can you not want to read a book with that type of message?(less)

Dylan is a billionaire, who is forced to take a three months leave from work. He accedes to step away and leave everything on the hands of his brother, as long as that means his brother, Brian, really makes things work with his wife and kids. Dylan's passion has been dancing, and he's never acted on it because the family business is at the top of his priorities list-- well, that was true until now. So he lies his way into an audition, next thing he knows he lands the gig as a dancer in a cruise ship. All is great, until he realizes everyone thinks he's gay. Then to prove he's not, he kisses no other than the cruise director, who just so happens to be his boss. Like Michaela, Dylan does not want a relationship, or ever to get married. He's just in for the fun, until he realizes, Michaela is all he needs.

Overall, I thought this was a sweet romance. The dialogue was funny at times, and although the story keept my attention, it seemed to slow a bit at times. This story is perfect for anyone who likes a good sweet romances with very little steam.

I really liked the book though it was a bit predictable. Michaela is a workaholic cruise director with a steeled heart. Dylan is a workaholic with love for family but with a disbelief in love and Happily Ever After. In order to help his brother and sister in law try to reconnect he needs to leave for three months to allow them to solve their problems. When I first heard about this, I was like HELL YES. I mean, have you read the book's summary? Cruise ship, no strings fling that turns serious, and fun onboard romance? Yes please! Now, after I finished this read, I wasn't blown away by it, but it was still very enjoyable to read.

I enjoyed this book. It was a nicely written quick tropical escape. The characters are really well written, their stories are fleshed out nicely and they are fantastic together. I love the backgroundish stuff you learn about each character. I like seeing them separate and I loved the different POVs used throughout the book.

I really enjoyed The Boss and Her Billionaire. It was a romance with ups and downs and there were moments that I wasn't sure if we'd have our Happily Ever After. There were moments were I wasn't even sure if I wanted them to be together. I had some issues with Dylan and the way he acted. In the end he pulled his act together but I felt like he should have been made to grovel.

Michaela Western is a cruise director and has been dealing with a snarky captain ever since she ended their affair. An affair which would've never happened had he told her that he was married. Now she's left with his attitude and her work. She tries extra hard to prove herself to him because he is one of those guys that thinks men are better than women and he degrades her every time he gets a chance. Her work is her life, even if that means she's lonely.

Dylan Johns is an overworked suit who is not only burdened with running the family company, he has to deal with his brother's family problems as well. His brother is a snake who has been missing more often than not for the last 10 years. Brian has mysteriously reappeared and he declares that Dylan should take a three month vacation to enable him to work out the issues between himself and his wife Lily. Lily and her children rely on Dylan because Brian is never there. Although he is skeptical, Dylan agrees to do it. He hopes that Brian has changed and the family will be able to heal.

Michaela has a strict no relationship rule that pertains to the passengers as well as the staff. Staff, which now encludes the very tempting Dylan. Dylan really likes what he sees. He sees her as a challenge that he is not going to back down from.

It was hard to put this book down even though I had some issues with Dylan. The story flowed easily and Michele de Winton masterfully wove the plot with enough twists and turns to keep the page turning in full swing. The only complaint that I have is one that I voice with many books. I wanted more of an ending! Don't get me wrong, there was a definite ending but I wish it would have been dragged out a little more.

This was an adult romance with some sizzle so reader be warned!

Entangled Publishing did it again! They have taken another GREAT author on board.

First book by Michele de Winton and i'm sure it isn't gonna be the last one, the caracters in this book were just great.. Michaela was in the eyes of many people just like a iceberg, so avoid her at all costs, Dylan on the other hand had something totally diverent in his mind :) In the end they both showed eachother that there is more to life than work..

So with this book. I am sorry to give it a low review but from the beginning I was not hooked and felt the story hard to believe. A financial guy who is a secret dancer. This story had so much potential but I was unfortunately let down. I also think the side story of the sister in law could have easily been dropped as it did not really help me with the characters growth.

I see that others have given this book great reviews so I am just one opinion. Sorry

A predictable book? Yes. Did that take away from the story? No. It was well written and the characters were strong, Michaela was, Dylan a little flaky. I enjoyed the cruise ship setting and I LOVED the Sydney setting. That has been the one place I really want to visit one day. This book reminds me of The Love Boat- the theme song is stuck in my head now :-)
