You may guess that Danny Cooper's a shy secretive guy, that physique, those blue eyes like chips of sky, the uniform. Mmm, the uniform? Look again. Under the firefighter duds, Danny's every rounded inch a woman, sexy as hell and then some, and you guys may look as much as you like, she hasn't found one yet that lights her fire. Fact is, she never will.

There is a guy she does like, CJ, gay as a carnival, nonthreatening, regal as a queen; and then there's Sam, long-term lover, still friends, kind

This was a really enjoyable book. The author has a way with words that will pull you right into the story. You really care about the characters and want to know what is going to happen to them. You can feel the emotion in each moment, be it when she is writing an intensely passionate scene or a heartbreakingly traumatic moment, and you find yourself feeling an array of emotional turmoil while you progress through the book. Yes, the language may be strong for some (though honestly it's not really ...more

Regardless of the language, it's worth a try...

If the language in this book is considered to be too raunchy or foul, then I am worse than any sailor that has ever sailed! Really I suppose living this kind of lifestyle where you're a blue collar type worker this is typical everyday behavior. I want put off at all. Now aside from that...
I found the story engaging; I was concerned by the reviews and read the sample before getting the whole book. After the sample, I couldn't wait to finish the story

I really wanted to like this book. But I had a really hard time with it. I don't usually enjoy first person, but this was just really bad. The conversations were not normal conversations. As stated before there were so many character and plot in consistencies it became distracting to the story. I honestly had a tough time finishing it.

Different love story

Good story. Well written. Not your typical love story. Lots of hurt and emotion in this one and I felt what Danny was feeling most of the time. Defiantly has some twists and turns. I will be looking for more from Shiralyn.

took a few chapters to get into the writing style of the author. by halfway in i was finally completely drawn into the story-line and loving it. but by the last 1/4th of the book, too many character and plot inconsistencies stopped me from enjoying this book as much as i could have.

"Love triangle" isn't enough to describe it. Very personal and sensual view into the life of a woman. What I loved most about it was the tone of the book. It was very realistic, a book you could curl up with for hours.

Growing up in England, I spent most of my youth in Kidderminster before moving down to sunny Devon. In 2006 I moved over seas to Canada where I now happily reside with my wife Janice.
I have many books published, all written under the lesbian genre. I love to write in different time era's, ranging from early 1800's through to modern day. I have also made each story line unique with their plotlines
