I love how the broken mirror looks like a pair of wings!!
Or, am I the only one who thinks that?
You know, I'm the obsessed one with wings after all.

Ooooh, & the all too white face looks like them!!

Hey girls! There's the lost sibling!

OMG can I give it a 10 I mean WOW!!!! review to come;)

My Re-write:

Ok here is it my review of this remarkable second book in the White Rabbit Chronicles. Showalter has once again written a captivating zombie story with so much more in it and made a second book just as remarkable as the first.

Thanks to Gena Showalter and Harlequin for sending this book my way to read and review! I was so excited when they sent me this one because I was still talking about the first one after reading it so many m...more

Just picked up my copy; so excited to start it!!
I devoured this book in a day. As dorky as it sounds, I was pretty much a zombie while reading this book because I only got up to eat and I might have snapped and tried to bite whoever tried taking my iPad away from me. Yeah, that bad.
So...Through the Zombie Glass:
- Ali/Cole: One of my favorite paranormal/horror book OTPs. I kinda yelled at Cole through my iPad but hey, I give mad props to Ali for being strong throughout all the hot & cold treatment. Also, I would like to mention how Cole is...more

I gotta admit: This book had me glued.
Too bad it was in a negative way.

- Who are you?
- Your doom.

Sure, there were some redeeming scenes in here that'd make me give it another star, however, this has got to be the most disappointing; fucked up "romance" slash "zombie" novel I've ever read in 2013 that will not make me do so. I don't know if I can write a review for this because my brain is a mess from reading this mess.

I didn't mind...more

I want this in my little hands so badly.
Full of action, suspense and drama. Awesome read!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really, really love Cole!
Same book as the first one, only with even more teen drama and less substance to the zombie mythology, and with new names and faces for basically the same cardboard villains. The fight scenes were downright boring and always the same - fight, ooh it's working, get bitten, uh oh, someone saves the day. I guess the author couldn't be arsed, since there was making out to write and teenage romance to focus on.

The whole zombie/spirit form thing was almost chucked, with bushes rustling and twigs snapp...more
Short and Sweet:
I SO enjoyed Through the Zombie Glass! It was creepy, dark and wonderfully suspenseful. This book builds upon it's first in the most entertaining & twisty ways. Fans of Alice in Zombieland will be equally delighted and horrified by this sequel!

To Elaborate....
Alice has been through quite a bit as of late, but nothing quite compares to the dark, compulsive whispers in her mind and the terrifying images of herself she sees in the mirror. What is she becoming? Has she lost her m...more

Review: Through The Zombie Glass Excited to finally read the story, I found myself falling even deeper into the rabbit hole.

Plot: So this story picks up where the last book left off and Alice life is about to turn upside down. This plot mainly dealt with a lot of insecurity within Alice. All of a sudden she is questioning herself and everything that she went through. At times, I felt frustrated with the plot simply because I wanted Alice to be done with this hurdle of insecurity. I wanted her to...more

Usually when I read a sequel they seem to be very different from the first book. Like either, all the characters have completely changed, or the story line has taken a different turn, and doesn't match up with the previous book. But not in this book. I loved reading every minute of it. The action and the add of new characters were just AMAZING!!. My mind was was completely blown while reading this book. Can I have a moment and just praise Gena, Showalter's writing skills. Like the women can writ

Today I looked up at the sky and was amazed by all the beautiful fluffy clouds, part of me was expecting to see one in the shape of a bunny, I didn't find one. I could not put this story down, I loved it. I felt like a teenager again and fell in love with Cole all over again. Ali is my favorite type of heroine, strong and tenacious and despite all of her hurt she was never whiny. Great story and characters, I cannot wait for the next one.

I loved Alice in Zombieland. Through the Zombie Glass picks up close to where Alice in Zombieland left off. I want to first say that I enjoyed the zombie plotline to this middle-of-a-trilogy book. Whereas some "middle" books can get a bit lost with filler, this one had a new plot in addition to the previously introduced one in Alice in Zombieland. Gena kept things fresh and the reader engaged.

I liked the direction and the twists and turns Gena took with the zombie part of the story. She also tr...more

Oh. My. God.
I love these boys. There was a scene with Bronx where they drive around the corner and there he is in the middle of the road leaning up against his truck, and I thought I was going to die. Personally, if he light up a smoke I would have thought that some 1950s rumble with guys in leather jackets was going to happen. It was intimid...more

The great thing (bad thing) about Kindle is the ability to download the app onto my phone which makes it incredibly easy to read books wherever I am. So...this.was.awesome!!! I loved the first book but this one was even better, Through the Zombie Glass was fabulous!!!
This book broke my heart, it made me cry, it made me really angry and sad but it also made me so very happy and giddy.

The plot was so interesting. Alice is struggling with something big (I won't tell you spoilers!), I can say that in this book she has a “dark side”, you'll see why and when this “dark side” appears. She's also having visions with someone else than Cole.

"You look edible, by the way. You have no idea how badly I want under that skirt." His voice dipped huskily as he added, "I wish I had time to prove it."

I can't believe I forgot how much I enjoyed Gena Showalter's Alice in Zombieland until I started the sequel, Through the Zombie Glass. Within minutes all the little details from the first book started coming back to me and I suddenly got excited all over again. Through the Zombie Glass literally consumed me until I finished - it's simply an amaz...more

This review is for the first two books in the series.

The White Rabbit Chronicles is not a series I would normally read. It spells drama with a capital “D”. It’s fraught with teenage angst, silly high school clichés, and an unrealistic but convenient lack of parental concern. Yet, despite my frequent eye-rolling, the plot and characters are for the most part enjoyable and even humorous. They certainly have their endearing qualities, and it was easy to root for them to succeed. However, t...more

“You know,” Cole said. “My mom once told me a boy would know he’d become a man when he stopped putting himself first. She said a girl would come along and I wouldn’t be able to get her out of my mind. She said this girl would frustrate me, confuse me, and challenge me, but she would also make me do whatever was necessary to be a better man–the man she needed. With you, I want to be better. I want to be what you need. Tell me what you need.” 45 likes
