Okay I have to say I am a sucker for romance stories and ENTANGLED has cornered the market with their romance stories.TOTAHSS is one of those books that you share with your girlfriends as a must read because it is a great love story. Sometimes people find love in the last place they expect to and in this case it is two people trying to prove something to someone and they end up falling in love.

The Oil Tycoon and Her Sexy Sheikh Review on K-Books
"I'd already chosen you, Livvy. Only you."
What a great contemporary romance novel this is. I really enjoyed this one. I instantly wanted to read this as soon as I heard about it. I read Ros' other book, the short but great Table For One so when I heard about this one I couldn't wait to read it. It did not disappoint I was completely sucked into the story right from the start and loved every page of it.

A sweet and fun romance.
Olivia is a career focused woman. No time for relationships, or even one off's. She works in the family business, per se. Her Dad owns an oil company, and since her mom died, Olivia always strives to be everything to her Dad. She kind of wants to be the "son" her Dad never had. She works hard, not so much for her, but to prove her Dad and all other men that she has what it takes to do the job, do it well or better than anyone else from the oppossite sex. Her latest missio...more

I really loved the book and Olivia and Khaled were wonderful. Olivia has always thied to do things to please her father ever since her mothers death. But there is really no pleasing him, he told her only if she secures a deal with Saqat. She meets with the crown prince of the country Khalad and sparks fly but she tries to remain professional. One thing leads to another and they are in bed together but the next day he has to go back to Saqat because his father is gravely ill. He must marry but it...more

Not my usual kind of book but something about thesynopsispulled me in and boy am I glad it did! I love a good old sheikh story where there is a strong Arabian male who falls in love with a English rose, which was common in the old category romances. This is a sexy update to the old Sheikh romance and the first book I have read from Ms. Clarke and hopefully not the last.
Olivia McInnes is the only child and apparent heir of the family oil firm started by her father, Oliver McInnes. He has raised Olivia since she was a little...more

Can't remember when last I've enjoyed a book as much as this. Likeable characters, with realistic viewpoints. Shows strong hero and heroine, respecting each other's backgrounds and with good senses of self-worth, despite the father of the heroine's paternalistic attitude. Written with a cultural sensitivity that shows research into Middle-Eastern customs and mores, especially in the more progressive countries. Refreshing not to have usual angst-ridden tropes, and ill-conceived plot lines headed...more
This started slowly for me, because I was expecting something different. I bought this because of the first chapter preview, and I've liked everything I've read from Entangled recently. Loved the heroine as executive instead of secretary. But the next few chapters weren't nearly as steamy as I expected - this was almost completely closed door, very much like a redo of a traditional category romance. And since that I wasn't what I was thinking it would be, it took me until the second part of the...more
As the title promises, it's sort of an arch, feminist-aware twist on the Harlequin Presents tropes. It's also a straightforward sweet story about two people trying to make their way in their respective fathers' shadows. I particularly appreciated that it was Olivia who came up with the solution to Khaled's big problem, and that it required a sacrifice on her part - and then that Khaled came up with a way to give her back what she'd given up.
Also, points for passing the Bechdel Test.

I really enjoyed reading The Oil Tycoon and Her Sexy Sheikh.
It was very different from other sheikh books I read but different in a good way.
The heroine Olivia is a strong woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind and make a name for herself in the oil industry.
Khaled was a great hero, I loved his passion for the sea and the fact he wasn't willing to risk the environment in order to make money for his country.
All in all a very good story.

Love love loved this book. Kept me guessing, wondering how they would meet their HEA. And oh my, that title is right. Sexy Sheikh for reals =)
4.5 Stars
This was a really beautiful, enjoyable read.
The story deals with a Scottish oil tycoon who falls in love with a sheikh who takes his duty to his country and people very seriously.
Khalid knows that oil will bring prosperity to his people but could end in potential environmental disaster. Olivia is trying hard to win her father's respect and be promoted CEO of his oil company.
They both have obstacles to overcome but of course love wins out in the end.
A lovely and touching story.
