Many good nuggets, but overall, this collection of blog posts has a snarky tone that was absent or subdued in Reinventing Collapse (perhaps thanks to a good editor rather than restraint by the author). This snarkiness occasionally works, but more often detracts from the Mr. Orlov's points regarding his expectations for the future of America. I highly recommend Reinventing Collapse, but I would only recommend Absolutely Positive if you've read that book, want to read more by Mr. Orlov, and don't...more
