3.5 but on the high end.
I enjoyed it. It was a sweet romance (which was the best part of this story-a very romance-centered story) and it was plenty steamy for even this Highland Hussy.

I began this book with great joy and excitement! Not only was it in my favorite genre, but I was going to meet a new friend! I really enjoyed this book. There is plenty of action and romance with scenes that will make you smile. This was my first Eliza Knight book and my first Highlander story. I have found a new author and new series I will be reading in the future! Eliza's writing is so easy to read and the plot moves along at a great pace. I was hooked from the beginning. I loved Magnus and Arbella from the first scene in which I met them. It was cute, a nice diversion. It took me about 2 days to read. I enjoyed it. The female lead was not an idiot and the male lead was sexy. What more do you want? :) Of course, this is your typical highland laird who is too manly to ever love meets fiery English maiden who doesn't know how beautiful she is. These stories are my weakness though and I can't stop reading them. This story was well done.

This is a wonderful book. I really enjoyed it. The characters are colourful and the history is well written. I loved the way the heroine could take care of herself in a time when they were never expected to. I have never read this author before but I certainly will look for more of her books.

I have never read anything by this author, I don't know if this is a debut for her, or I've just missed the name but I'm so glad this book popped up as a recommendation on my Kindle. This book was great, and I can't wait for the next installment!
I like the story. But i found it was all about magnus and not eliza. What ever your opinon you would not be waisting your time reading this book. Magnus is no Christian Grey but no one can be that perfect :)
More like 3.5 but I'll gladly round up to 4. This was a sweet story and better written than a lot if historical romances that I have picked up. No major out of time flaws to distract me.
I liked how the book kept some believable action and the main characters weren't as "stubborn" as many are in today books. lets you believe not EVERYONE has given up on lovr

this is a good and fast paced books, not really have some angst moment and the problem is not too heavy to follow. overall, this is an enjoyable book
I didn't like the writing style much; I found it at bit jerky & abrupt for some reason never warmed to the H/H. Ended flipping abit towards the end.

Great fast read, good character and plot, not just your basic romance, history intertwined with lots of passion. Couldn't put it down!

"The Highlander's Reward" completely enveloped me into its sensual and passionate storyline from the very beginning all the way through to the end.

3.5. A good read n planning to read next in series. I liked Magnus n he was amazing towards his wife.
Quick read and a little predictable. For me, though I enjoyed it, the book was too dull for me but I'm looking forward her 2nd book.
