Since I have read the previous books in the series, I was inevitably curious about this one. After finishing it, I realised that my impressions of all three were closely related. What first drew me to Legends of the Romanorum were the interesting plot premises, with two unusual types of protagonists brought together. I liked both Mael and Cian as well as their interactions, though at times I did feel that the the sex scenes were a bit too frequent and almost out of context.

This book is part of a series and I would advise reading the series in order… oh and also reading the Blood series by Shayne Carmichael and also the Inferi Brotherhood series by Mychael Black as characters from both those series make appearances in this book. It’s been four years since we last saw Mael and Cian. A long, long wait but finally they are here. This book continues from not long after And The Two Sh

The third and final volume in this series is a fitting end to the tale of Mael Black and Cian. In it, Mael is forced to step up in power amongst the Romanorum, as he and Cian come to the aid of all vampire-kind. It also sees to the expansion of their family, with old family quarrels being settled - one way or another - and new blood welcomed. And finally, we see the culmination of their love being shared with those around them.

This was filled with plot holes and the writing was utterly confusing. Such a great idea and pretty good plot line, but only superficially.
