Great book... gave me lots of ideas for future traveling during my time in SE Asia. :) ...and down the road when I get back to Italy! Well done... beautiful pictures. This would be a wonderful coffee table book to keep around.

Everytime I open up this book, it made me all the more aware of so many beautiful places I've never previously heard of and dejectedly realise i can't possibly see everything that's worth seeing in my lifetime.

Bill Bryson was born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1951. He settled in England in 1977, and worked in journalism until he became a full time writer. He lived for many years with his English wife and four children in North Yorkshire.
