This is a great anthology overall. The Obernewtyn prequel is great, and makes me very much want to pick up Obernewtyn again, and it is one of many wonderful stories. If you are reading it cover to cover, as I did, I think having a more defined theme would have made it a more satisfying and cohesive reading experience. A great collection of stories covering genres ranging from adventure to crime to romance and poetry to name but a few. They are addictive short stories from fifty-seven Australian writers. I enjoyed reading some from favourite authors but was equally pleased to be introduced to new authors.I highly recommend it to readers from upper primary to adult.
