When I started to read this book I wasn't really expecting to like it too much. As I read I was absolutely delighted with it. A rare combination of easy to read but thought provoking. It has an almost magical quality that is reminiscent of children's books but it is far from immature. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

Raised in frigid Wisconsin, she migrated her treehugging liberal self South just as fast as she could, landing inexplicably in the shiny buckle of the Bible Belt.
