Charity Bell is eighteen, beautiful, and has an unyielding chip on her shoulder. The loss of her father and betrayal of her stepfather have left her angry and confident that no man will ever win her trust, or possess her heart. She wears that declaration proudly--on her countenance, as well as her sharp tongue.
That's all tested when the enchanting Levi Drake transfers from

I am sorry to say I could not finish this book. It was nothing like I thought it would be and after 33% in, I had to stop. For me it's fan fiction. There were far too many scenarios copied from Twilight(I could list them, but I won't). I also had a problem with the heroine, Charity. Her character is a damsel-in-distress type who is frequently rescued by the hero, Levi, and I wasn't convinced that she needed it some of the time - like during the fight between the rival jocks. I stopped at the poi ...more

I don't know how many sleepless nights I had hearing Charity And Levi's dialog in my head until I had no choice but to get out of bed and write it down. I have found that you either love Charity's character or you don't, but there is no denying she has a strong one. I just loved writing her. And to me there is no other hero as charismatic and noble as Levi. My primary goal in writing is to delight and entertain. I truly hope this story does that for you.

It was a simple, easy and fast read! Will sure recommend for all paranormal romance lovers like me!

Charity's a tough nut to crack but the newly joined Levi leaves her mushy only to make her intrigue whats the secret behind him...and when she knows makes her world upside down!

Though she loves him more than anything..she has her share of panic attacks(where she applies a lot of her lip balm - i totally loved i have to make sure to buy one LOL!),trust issues, and accepting her upturned

Now a glimpse: Charity is a very difficult gal, she have a toughest wall (even for the hottest guy, mind you). When the new students arrive she suspects something is up and drags her friend to ease their growing curiosity. Who would have though that was the freaking great idea she had ever had, for there was the start of their budding and smack to chest love for each other!. And the other alpha leader also wants to be with her (i know right luck girl), after many bruise and heart ache the weddin ...more

With a beautiful cover like this it's hard to resist not checking out what charity moon is all about.
This book was not what I was expecting but ohmysweetgoodness I really enjoyed it!!!!

Charity is no nonsense high school girl, she has sworn off boys and has trust issues.Enter Levi Drake who is extremely handsome and swoon worthy and has a secret that keeps her on toes all the time. I also loved Ashley, Charity’s BFF and partner in crime.

When Charity and Ashley plan to find all about the secret th
It was good, not great. It seemed like there were a lot of things I have read before in other stories, though I am aware that seems to be a common problem in books. There are only so many story lines one can write about. One thing that did stand out, and that I really liked was that Charity had a strong faith in God and did not allow anything to shake that faith. It seems like books have a tendency to avoid any religious references at all, even angel books (which this is not) seem to have a very ...more

There was just something about this book that had me from the start. There wasn't all of the graphic violence associated with many paranormal books, so it made for a nice, leisurely read. The teenaged main character was pretty self-confident, seemed to know what she wanted and the teenaged male was wise in so many ways beyond his years, while starting out a little mysterious and dark. The writing was well-done and the story flowed well from beginning to end. All I had to do was put myself into a ...more

To be honest, when I first read the synopsis I didn't think that this book was going to be amazing, I just thought it would be fairly good, but I was surprised to find an engaging and page turning story that had me gripped from the very beginning. It was clear that this book was going to include some sort of paranormal or mythical creature - I assumed werewolf from the cover, and I was right. However, I wasn't sure about anything else really.

The first section of the novel is brilliant. The writ

Okay so I have to be honest, I kind of have an obsession with werewolves. Although I mean come on lets be honest here who wouldn't werewolves have the right amount of charm to them and they also have that alpha feel to it. That's why I didn't hesitate to pick up this book when I read the blurb. Going into this I expected a kick butt heroine and well a pretty hot and swoon worthy male lead. What I got was a lot more.
Let's start with Charity. I think that she's

Awesome book it was.

First of all I liked the cover of the book and I did make this cover as my cover photo on my facebook. After reading this book I really regretted that why didn't i read earlier .

It was so good. Let me tell you I love vampires more than werewolves that's why it seemed a little difficult for me to go start this book. It does have vampires in it though I came to know tat later.

But I am glad I finally read this awesome, fast, good book.

“I huffed, knelt down, and was in the process of gathering them up when I stared, in disbelief, at the paper in my hand. I wasn’t sure what to make of it, but I was looking at my face drawn beautifully five different times with the emotions listed off under each one; anger, fear, depression, confusion, and awe.”Charity from Charity Moon

Amazing, right? That part had me grinning like crazy. Let’s face it, it pretty much sums up how most high school kids feel when they fall in love for the first

I would classify this book as Paranormal/YA/Christian... Perhaps a first. At least a first that I've read. The paranormal/YA elements are immediately evident with the teenage girl falling for the handsome other-worldly boy, the christian theme kinda sneaks up on you. At first with a few references to Charity's belief in God and later it becomes a more predominant part of the story with Charity being healed by a miracle from God because Levi prayed for her rather than using his own magical powers ...more

Charity Moon by DeAnna Kinney is the first novel in the series and it’s an amazing read. It’s a novel that you’ll read fast, not only because it’s easy to read but also because the storyline and the characters are fabulous.

Charity Anna Bell is your average 18 year old, finishing up her last year of high school. Well, other then the fact that she has to hide herself; for example when she comes home from school she goes directly to her room, locks the door and props a chair under the door knob for the last three years; to keep her pervert stepfather out of her room. Because of this Charity has "male issues" and does not allow herself to get close to guys. That is until the day that Levi Drake transfers to her school ...more

With young adult books I treat them a little different. I try to look at them in my daughters point of you and ask myself what would she think of this book. I think she would have really enjoy it. I liked that charity was a very strong female lead. The one that takes nothing and holds nothing back. She is strong, head strong and gets what she wants. Now also she lives with a secret that she hides from everyone. I think that this character in this

The first third of the book was fantastic and I couldn't turn the pages quick enough. Charity was falling for the new school hunk, Levi. Her trying to resist him was very engaging and I loved they way she t

This book would be labeled to me as a YA/ paranormal/romance/light religion. Without giving too much away or spoiling the plot. Charity moon was written in the first person, main character Charity Bell who seems like a typical teenage high school student until the layers of her life are revealed, she has a major well deserved chip on her shoulder and a negative attitude but you feel for her character from beginning to end and go through her emotions with her throughout the story, loosing her fat ...more

This book was one of the best I've read this year! I was actually really excited to start this book and wasn't disappointed! The characters weren't bad—like at all. I think the only "bad" character was Wesley. Other than that I didn't really see truly evil characters. I like the events that happened in the book, although I wished some scenes were a little more described (no not the love scenes) but I felt like a lot of the scenes were rush, therefore not described to the fullest. Either way, I t ...more

This is a perfect book for Christian YA readers.

Charity Bell is brave, resourceful and has strong moral values that even the best looking boy in school, whom she loves to distraction, cannot overcome under anything but the right circumstances. The Christian theme running through the book is strong and consistent, which I admire. Charity is faced with difficult situations, decisions and dilemmas and comes through them all with flying colours and the book has a satisfying conclusion.

Charity Bell is a young woman who knows what she wants, evidently self confident and proves to have a strong moral compass. She is shocked one day when a student from the “East” side is transferred to her “West” side school. It is unheard of such a transfer, you see there is a enormous rivalry between the East and West sides.

Levi Drake is the gorgeous young man that just transferred into Charity school. He is instantly attracted to Charity but she seems to find him intolerable. He knows that Ch

Awesome books one of my favorites!

Charity Bell lives a guarded life. She's sarcastic and rude and prefers to keep people at a distance. Then a boy transfers to her school from their rival school. Levi Drake a.k.a. 'Lava hottie' is prettying what his name implies. But Levi has a secret -yeah it would really be a good book without one- and Charity is determined to find it out.

Romance: ok it was great! It wasn't completely live at first sight, they hated each other!... Well ok maybe strong dislike.

Charity, is a quirky, 18 year old that is not looking to prove herself to anyone but needing desperately for someone to prove they are worthy of the love she keeps behind strong emotional walls. Levi Drake may be worthy, but there is something off about him. Charity is terrified that the love that she feels growing inside her will cause her more pain than she is able to endure.

Charity Moon is a wonderfully imaginative romance with a refreshing twist on the traditional girl meets boy genre. I ha
I find this book quite interesting, as well as very romantic and humorous. Levi Drake is absolutely the perfect werewolf, and I fell in love with him halfway through the book. I find the protagonist, Charity Bell, gullible though and a little stupid so I didn't really like her character very much. The events that occurred were also too surreal for my liking and lacked depth and clarity, and there were sooo many bad guys, which was really annoying, but I liked how things turned out in the end, an ...more

I really enjoyed this book! It was very similiar to Twilight, but Twilight is one of my favorite books so that didn't bother. Charity was hard for me to take at first but as I got to know her I understood where her hardness came from. I liked how the author brought in the subject of abuse in the home. I won't give anything away but I thought the way Levi handled that was very satisfying.
Levi was hot. I liked him a lot and understood why Charity fell for him. I love the heroes who are protectors

First of all I love the cover and love books in the first person so right away it was a good start.

Charity was an interesting character with a well deserved chip on her shoulders for guys. I loved her smart alec attitude and how she was confident about herself. She had an odd fascination for lip gloss and sometimes corny remarks. Her group of friends were realistic and sometimes funny. Levi, the mysterious new guy is a strong hero, who is always there when Charity needs him.
