The synopsis on this book is rather succinct; it does not really give you much to go on in my opinion so, I'll try to delve a bit into the story here for those who might be considering reading this book.
The main characters in this book are Tyler and Susie...
Tyler is a 26 year old Native American Indian from Montana who has gone off to college, to escape the emotional burden that is his Mother. Tyler is open and honest and often wears his heart on his sleeve to his own detriment. Tyler views rela...more

Lemme tell you, this book was not what I expected. It took me through some twists and turns and ups and downs. When I tell you this B***h Susie fought to the literal end, I was amazed. What I didn't like was the epilogue, mostly because it left me kinda hanging and was too short. Also, I could've done without the Joan character's POV. She was just too whiny and insecure and worked my last damn nerve. Plus she was a stupid traitor. I loved Tyler and want my own James T...more

I absolutely LOVE this whole series! I really can't say enough about how much I love the main character Tyler. he's such a funny and nerdy everyday guy. oh, and of course he's a super hot nerd. I love how in love he is with Susie and what he's willing to do to make Susie see how perfect they are together. there were so many hilarious scenes in this book. I was laughing right from the first page. Tyler's internal monologue is so awesome and the author did a really awesome job writing from his POV...more
I just finished the book and I'm irritated. May not be the best time to write the review, but I'm too annoyed to care. I just plowed through 800+ pages of reading about a neurotic, over-sex, spoiled, selfish little girl. Susie is the least likeable character I've ever read! (Spoiler)** My god, everything that happened to her she wanted, and actively sought out from the 14 yr old experimentation with the older guys, to the porn acting, to sleeping with like every single one of her "friends" guys,...more
Such a good book. I'm glad that I came across the entire collection becasue I don't think I would have liked to wait. I got the first couple of books for free on amaazon and was captured by the storyline. I really like reading books that are written from the characters point of view.
With all the porn that Tyler was into, I was a little surprised that he never came across her before. The way Susie was hiding her secret wasn't that great since it hinted that at least two guys she was with knew of...more

This is my first book by Shaina Richmond. I will definitely read more of her work. I was blown away with the writing. I loved hearing the story from different points of view. It gives the story so much more depth and you find out more about the characters. I love Susie because I too am not a stick figure kind of girl. I'm rooting for Tyler and Susie. I knew it was good because I could not put it down. The emotions each character showed and each battle Tyler and Susie struggled through was descri...more
I loved this book for a few reasons. The first being the way it was written, from more than one POV! It was a long book but it never dragged. There was never a moment when you lost interest. The book was captivating throughout the whole book and i honestly could not put it down. I loved the character of Susie. For one she wasn't the typical stick figure main female character. And she had a past. None that most people would look down on her for which is why she kept it a secret. And whether she...more
I don't even know why I finished this series and honestly, I sped read through most of the last 150 pages because I was so bored by this story. Sadly, the main male character Tyler was way too weak for me confidence wise and I wasn't at all attracted to him physically either. Long hair pony-tailed Indian just doesn't do it for me sorry. I just kept waiting for him to cut his hair the entire time I was reading this. The main setting involves the characters attending a university and I'm not sure...more
I don't really know what to say about this. First off, the writing was good. The story was good. I liked most if the characters. I had a hard time with the fact that Susie made no apologies EVER for her behavior... her "jobs," her drug use, all the secrecy, the infidelity (yeah, I'm talking about the chicks)... she never once seemed to feel bad about it, and even after Tyler found out, instantly accepted it and tried to move on, Susie left him... over and over. I wanted them together all along b...more
After reading a few reviews (good and bad) on this one, I thought it would be a good read. I enjoyed it but found that at times the story seemed to be drawn out. I didn't like the point of views from all the characters, too much going on. Susie had way too much going on for me and her trying to hide from herself just made me mad at her at times. Would have liked more at the end after they got back together but I understand that will come up in another book. So decide for yourself if you want to...more

This has been sitting on my kindle for a few months now...I grabbed it when it was set to free on Amazon and finally caved in to reading it. Wow was I surprised. I enjoyed the back and forth with Susie & Tyler and Tyler evolving from a love sick puppy into a alpha. I could have lived without Susie being 'involved' with every man & woman in the book. Not to mention her 'career' choice. I am glad that she worked her issues out and she finally gave into her love and they l...more

4.5 stars!
I initially was not impressed by Part 1 of this 8 part book, but I'm so glad I continued reading! The story just got better and better with each page!!!
It's a long book, but it is filled with a cast of interesting characters who eventually grew on me. They felt very real, "warts and all". ;)
I even fell in love with Susie and Tyler, though I wasn't quite sure I would connect with them at the start. I can understand the frustration in other reviews I've read, but I soon realized that ev...more

I'm a little torn on this book. It really sucked me in. I couldn't put it down, I was so intrigued with their story. At first I thought Susie was such a fun character. She was spunky and I was dying to know all of her secrets that she kept so tight. This quote is what made me love Susie.

"[...] Call me whichever one you want. I just ask that you pick one and stick with it. I'm like a trained dog. If I get used to your voice calling me Susie, I won't know who you're talking to if you call me Susa
A lot of unsettled, unresolved feelings in this book. Poor Tyler!!! The fact that the entire 800+ pages was less than a year in time and then the epilogue was 17 years later was a bit frustrating!!! I'm guessing there was a lot that happened over those 17 years, especially as much turmoil as there was in their first year!!!! Authors note added stated she would answer a lot of questions with stories on the other characters ~ not for me! I'll take the "happy ever after" played on me in this series...more
I had to finish this mammoth reading session....I really enjoyed this book, even though Susie could be extremely frustrating at times, I had warmed to her and just wanted to know her secrets and her past..she was extremely mentally broken...Tyler, what a sweetie...he just would not give up...like a puppy with a bone!! Even the back characters were interesting (except the biatch Kate!!)I must admit I was a bit upset with the epilogue skipping so much but understand that this is because there will...more
Wow this book was nothing like what I had expected it to be like..She was so complex with so many layers that needed to be pulled down for the real person to show through..This book took me on a journey of discovery and i loved every moment of it..Her secret was something I didn't see coming, so kind of threw me for a bit..
I fell in love with his character, he knew what he wanted and he wasn't going to let anything or anyone get in his way..
I give this book 5/5 without any hesitation..Loved it!!

I really liked this book - or collection of serials. It kept me entertained. There was drama on both sides, but it was entertaining and the fact that Tyler put up with Susie through everything said so much. Of course I was a bit annoyed by her stubbornness - but it has to be there for conflict, right? The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the epilogue - it was too vague. Glad to hear there will be another book that will explain the missing details.
If the ending wasn't so abrupt it may have been better. More than anything I kept wondering when a size 12 became a "fat bitch". A size 12 is not big and neither is a 36 chest. I felt bad for the readers who were going to question their own beauty if a size 12 is suddenly a fat bitch. The book cover is the same skinny ass blonde from all the other books and she damned sure isn't a fat bitch.
3 1/2 stars. Very dramatic love story of two pretty damaged characters using college as an escape from their family demons. Susannah was the most flawed with her sexploits. At one point I think it should have be called "Spank Me" vs Safe with Me... Then the storyline took a sharp turn and became less about the sexcapades and stamina of twenty-somethings and more about the determination and love to save someone from themselves.
I loved this book. This book had me so frustrated I just wanted to throw my iPad. I loved Tyler and hated him, I felt sorry for Susie and then I hated her, my emotions are all over the place. The author did an awesome job by keeping you guessing and nothing was predictable. This is a story of love, hate, shame, guilt and forgiveness and I truly enjoyed reading it
Very much enjoyed this read after Fifty Shades and Bare to You. The characters are enticing and very interesting to say the least. The ending wasn't what I quite expected but I would definitely read her other books about the characters to see how Susie and Tyler got to the 17 years later mark. I would definitely recommend this book to friends.
Wow, I could not put these books down. Enjoyed every one of them, and lost many hours of sleep. Only a couple parts bothered me a little. 1. In the beginning I thought the auther went a little over board talking about Suzie's breasts. 2. I wish the ending had more, but the author did say more books will be coming out, so I'm happily waiting.
Didn't think I would like this book when I first stumbled upon it. However, after reading Parts 1 & 2, I realized I had to buy the complete series which included Parts 3-7 ($4.99) and then I purchased the end which comprised Part 8 (.99c). It ended up being a good read in the end...read it in 2 days!!!
OMG I didn't want this to end. I won ruin it for those who havent read this but it's a real page turner. I honestly hope the author does come out with a sequel this! amazing writing.... an it really sucks you in. haven't been able to do anything the last few days cuz I just had to keep going, had to know how it ended!
