Sabrina and Cole's story. Good book, again a little too much "sugar" and "darlin" but not as bad as the first one. Also, the author got Cole and Luke' names mixed up both in the first book and this one a couple of times, so that was a little weird. Had to go back and reread sections to figure out what she meant before I realized she iust used the wrong name. Then, there was that blunder of Sabrina using a phone in protective custody that was just unbelievable.
Sabrina takes her 3 weeks of vacati

I've been looking forward to read Cole and Sabrina's story after being introduced to them in My Kind of Trouble.

Cole Jackson is Luke's best friend and the Sheriff of Bowie, TX. A super Alpha-male who tends to get his foot in his mouth when it comes to a certain "spitfire", Detective Sabrina Roberts. He ,has a heart of gold and is always there to take care of those people he cares about. He's known to have a charming personality when it comes to women.

Sabrina Roberts is a cop from Phoenix who wo

This was the second book in the Texas Trouble series and it was even better than the first. It centers on Luke's friend Cole and Cassie's friend Sabrina. Cole is the sheriff in Bowie and Sabrina is a detective from Phoenix. They are very attracted to each other, but there is a lot of problems along the way. One being Sabrina's brother Gabe. He calls her because he is on the run from a drug cartel and she gets him to come to Bowie to help. Well in the process she gets kidnapped by the cartel. Luk ...more

This book is about Sabrina (who we met in the first book), a detective from Phoenix, and Cole (Luke's best friend form book 1) who is the sheriff of Bowie. They had an attraction in the first book. Now, it's time to see if Cole's caveman tactics can charm Sabrina. This book has a lot of action. We get to see Luke and Cassie. We are also introduced to Gabe, Sabrina's brother, in this book. Which of course leads you to book 3. Cole and Sabrina have a roller coaster ride. I wanted to pinch their he ...more

I really liked Cole and Sabrina's story. There were certain parts where I could just feel so much emotion coming from the characters that I wanted to cry. I love books that can draw me in like that.

Like the first book this one was a roller-coaster as well. Just when I thought everything was well, BAM, all hell breaks loose again.

I do find myself wondering if all the books in this series follow this danger/suspense roller-coaster format though. Can that much danger find its way to Bowie, TX? I gu

Fab second book and I love the way the characters from the other books all develop nicely and interact throughout. Southern, headstrong and heartstrung people who will tickle you silly in parts :)

This story sort of drove me nuts. First off you quickly realize that Sabrina has a permanent chip on her shoulder. She is very tenacious and is quite combative when it comes to alpha males. So when she comes up against Cole, a very opinionated southern boy with his own set of issues it's bound to be loud as they butt heads. Their chemistry was fast and frenetic when they finally let it burn and it burned, but they couldn't get their heads out of their own arses long enough to get it right. Not t ...more

Somewhere between a 3 1/2 and a 4....

This is the second book in Becky McGraw’s Texas Trouble series. I hesitate to remind readers that I read the previous book, My Kind of Trouble… only because it wasn’t one of my favorites. Now before you shake your finger at me for doing what I complain about most… (reading the second book in a series after I gave a less than glowing review to the first) I could have easily read this book without leaving a review and no one would have been the wiser. The second book in this series was just as good as the first one. Although this was Sabrina and Cole's story, it involved Luke and Cassie, from the first book, which was great. Luke finally got to pay back Cole for all the times he helped him, when he was trying to get over Cassie and then back together with her. Sabrina, is a detective in Phoenix, who has took a three week vacation, to come to her friends wedding in Bowie, Texas. She has met Cole, once before, but doesn't want to get close to h ...more

I really wanted to like this book, but this author just has WAYYYYY too much going on all the time..it's hard to read and have any sense of realism, and normally I don't mind outlandish story lines... but just like Luke and Cassie's story (Texas Trouble #1) there's just TOO MUCH!! The sex scenes / romance and chemistry are great.. I love vulnerable men (who don't think they're vulnerable)in high power positions that go weak kneed for no one but their lady loves, but there has to be some kind of ...more

Sabrina is the detective that helped Cassie and became her best friend. After Sabrina's husband was killed working on a case, she throws herself into her work. She hasn't done anything fun in a long time. She takes three weeks off to help Cassie with her wedding and her ranch.

Cole is Luke's best friend and now the sheriff. Cole and Sabrina become friends. They are attracted to each other. Sabrina's brother Gabe comes to town and bring trouble. Sabrina and Cole are too busy trying to save each ot

I was looking forward to the ongoing story linking the lives of the couple in the first book to the couple in this book. However it was very disconcerting to have the hero suddenly change names. More than once, Cole became Luke then went back to Cole - switching identities with the hero from book one. The author has a decent style of storytelling, but needs to hire a better editor!

YES!!! Serve me up Sheriff Jackson anyday. Although he was rough around the edges when it came to relationships, Cole held no feelings back.

I think I fell in love a little more when he said they "they messed with the wrong man, from the wrong state". Bri was one lucky woman.

Another good one in this series

These books are so good I have trouble putting them down. They all the in together, but can stand alone as well. The thing is though you just want to keep reading because you know the author writes a good story. I'm on to book three.

Good lord Cole is a spunky hot complete Alpha cowboy/Sheriff !! Loved his bossiness even tho it got him in a lot of hot water with Bri...Bri is a short lil spitfire but she knows how to take care of herself! After a far amount of action things worked out for there HEA! Really loving this series

I liked the second book better than the first for sure. The H/h dynamics were a lot more evenly matched to me. I like that Sabrina is strong and willing to own up to her mistakes, just because you love an alpha doesn't mean you have to let him walk all over you!

The Trouble With Love

Excellent book. Highly recommend this book to everyone. Excellent story line kept your interest and attention making it hard to put down. Ready for the next book in the series.

I struggled with this one. After getting dizzy from the couple going back and forth I found I didn't really like either one of them. Especially the H...his whining and being in tears just about every chapter made me want to yell at him to man up lol This is a DNF.
