Oh the waiting for this one is going to feel like forever.

I strongly disliked this book. Poppy was too damn selfish and self absorbed for me. And what kind of ending was that? I could call it cliffy. I liked them together (I am not going to say who) and they had to break up! I would have liked to know how Poppy and Nikki started being friends again and what happened to some characters that were absent.

Again there was over the top drama with Poppy becoming worse and worse by every sec. I had started to worry that she would cheat Ty. Things got out of co...more

First I want to say that I was supposed to post this as part of the Blog Tour last week. Unfortunately my computer had some dumbass glitch and it has been impossible for me to post it until now. I want to apologize to everyone that organized the tour and the author because I missed my date. I never do this, it's never happened before and I honestly feel terrible to let everyone down! Again, I'm really sorry, but well... here is my review. Okay, so I read The Kiss Off and I loved it. This sequel...more
Are you ready for THE best trip EVER?!

Well Poppy was too, but it turns into a bit of a catastrophe.

On the one side she is on trip with her friends, but non of them can agree, so that bit suck.

On the other side she is visiting her famous rock star boyfriend Ty, and even though they are in love, and SOOOOO cute together , then being famous is what really begins a lot of trouble for Poppy, because in the world of famous, paparazzi and glitter you change as a person, and no less Poppy.

That itself...more

SERIOUSLY, 2015?! Please tell me someone somewhere is playing a cruel joke on me. This book was 1000% better than the first and it ends in a CLIFFHANGER! And I learn Book 3 doesn't come out till 2015?! Epic. Freaking. Fail. If you liked Book 1, Book 2 is SO MUCH BETTER! I don't want to give anything away, but I called the stalker's identity from the beginning, I wish the actual song lyrics were posted in these books, and I r...more

I loved that feeling; the feeling of being with my besties who loved me for the crazy neurotic who-thinks-too-much that I am, and not having to hide it or reign it in, not having to pretend I'm mostly sane and normal, because it simply wouldn't be as much fun if I was. I loved that feeling so hard.

No. No. No!!! 2015 before the next book comes out? No way!!! I'm not the most patient person at the best of times, but when a book ends the way this one did.... Well, I'm just lost for words!!! But...more
Not quite as cute as the first book, The Kiss Off.

Poppy never really learned from her constant mistakes. I was kind of hoping Poppy would grow up in the second book a little, but I guess I can't knock it just for not being what I wanted it to be. Over It was also totally lacking in romance, which, I guess the title sort of says that, and again, that's just what I wanted it to be.

In the end, Poppy blames herself for turning into a nutjob when she's with her boyfriend, but could it maybe have be...more

I read The Kiss almost a year and a half ago and I was dying to get my hands on the sequel (which I didn't know existed initially). I was dying to read more of Ty and Poppy. They were such a great couple, imperfect yet perfectly normal. However what we find out in this book is Ty and his band are currently at the top star status (think One Direction to little teen girls). Poppy hasn't seen Ty other than through Skype for several months and when the chance to see him at a nearby music festiv...more

After reading the first book, I was excited to jump in and continue with Poppy Douglas’ story. Also…her boyfriend, Ty, is hard to resist with him being a world famous rockstar and all. ;)
Over It allows you to live vicariously through Poppy and her adventures and mishaps. It’s a fun read and fun to imagine you living this life of hiding from the paparazzi and dating a famous rockstar. But, it’s not all fun and games, as Poppy finds out when once again she makes the headlines for losing her bikini...more
I really enjoyed Over It. I thought it was a great follow up to The Kiss off. What is cool about this series is that I feel like each of the books can pretty much be read on their own, but at the same time they go great together. There is not much overlap between this book and the first book so it took me a chapter or two to get my bearings and remember everything that happened in the first book, but once I did I was rolling. And Laughing. And basically just having a blast reading this book. Ove...more

Ames: I was so looking forward to reading Over It…and when the date got pushed back for its release, that filled me with some trepidation. Pushed back release dates don’t usually mean good things. And I definitely had some issues with Over It. But overall, I was caught up in Poppy’s story and I want to read more. What about you?

Rowena: I’m the same as you. I read The Kiss Off and enjoyed it so I wanted to read this one. After all the release date pushbacks, it fell off my radar until it popped u...more

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a book where it seems like nothing goes right for Poppy or, at least, for her and Ty. I enjoyed the continuation of the story from the first book and there were certainly parts of the book that were a pleasure to read but it didn't have a happy ending. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a horrific cliffhanger, but it was definitely bittersweet.

I think this book was supposed to be a bit of a low-point in the series. One where P...more

Sarah Billingotn's new book Over Itis much better than her first bookThe Kiss Off. It is full with humour, new characters and unexpected twists and turns. We are introduced to Poppy's cousin Hamish. Each page will leave you wanting more and you won't be able to stop reading. After reading Over It you wont be able to wait for the next instalment to the 'Kiss off' series, 'All Access Pass', set in Tokyo. But sadly you may have to wait till 2015 :(

Just as I loved The Kiss Off, I love this sequel. This book is fun, Romantic and full of excitement. Is so hard to find book sequels that are as amazing as the first book.In this book like I did on the first one I loved all the characters. Ty is a hot rock star with a heart of gold, but like it normally happens Fame changed him. Jealousy blinded him. Poppy is one amazing female character, she is funny, talented and a great friend. This my sound weird but one of my favorite characters of the book...more
Wow, this was a great book. I didn't read the first one but it caught you up with what was going on. I would say it would work as a stand alone but not with the cliffhanger at the end. I spent the whole day reading it and then wanted to jump off a cliff because the next book isn't expected until 2015! I didn't expect to like it that much but it kept me interested with all the adventures and misadventures Poppy gets herself into just being a teenager. Four days chaperoned by another teenager in c...more

Life in Poppy's world is far from dull. Even though she is connected to a rock star which is anything but ordinary, she comes across as grounded and has a down to earth personality which is a definite plus in appeal. Surreal situations that are entertaining occur frequently and add a lot of fun to this story. I felt the relationship between Poppy and Ty lacking however, I was a tad disappointed. This segment of the series leaves one peaked waiting to see just what Poppy's world will bring on nex...more
I loved the first book so when there was a chance that I could get an ARC for the second, I jumped on it! Although I enjoyed this book, it was a little disappointing. It isn't as great as the first and Poppy got really irritating to me. I wish I could have seen more Poppy and Ty interactions but it just seemed like everytime they appeared, they were fighting. I hated that it ended on a cliffhanger and that I have to wait till 2015 for the next book. I shall be anxiously waiting!

A little disappointing, nowhere near as good as the first though. Although I did enjoy the development and getting to know the character that is Nicky.
I kinda guessed the stalker, and apart from the ending which I liked and where it picked up. I was just bored.

Saying all of this I can't wait for the next one, which tells me that to some degree I must've still enjoyed the book. Hope there's a lot more going on though. And the setting of the book doesn't revolve and stay in one place.
Thanks Netgalley for ARC
Well this book was better than book 1. I like it more and it was funnier.
So it takes place a few weeks after the end of book 1 and Poppy has decided to attend the Bay Fest Musical Festival. Since the moment they arrive everything went wrong. I don't want to spoil it because it was kinda crazy. I had a few suspicious about the stalker I could feel who it was.
I can't wait for book 3 but I really do to want to wait until 2015.
Now that Poppy Montgomery's song "The Kiss Off" is paying her royalities. What is a girl to do? Well if you are Poppy you attend a weekend music festival! And there begin the antics only a teen could love. She needs a chaperone enter cousin Hamish who has a car & is willing to drive her& her friends to the music fest. Ty has a stalker, Poppy must write a song for one of the groups is just a touch of what goes on in her life. Enjoyed the YA read.

Nö happy Ending. Waiting for book 3. coming 2015.

I love it. Poppy with attitude...
This book is fun to read and really once you start, you just cant put it down.
I love how all the characters have quirky ideas, and nothing gets in the way of a good time.
I would recommend this book to everyone.
Not as good as the first, but I couldn't have seen it going any other way!
