Not much of a story to this one, and I'm not just talking about the page count. Lots of anal sex, and I do mean LOTS of it. Truth be told, I could have done with less sex and more relationship/romance. This one had another abrupt ending, too.
I'm probably in the minority here, but while I liked it, I am a tad disappointed.

Way...too...much....talk... They talked and talked and talked about all the dirty things they were going to do and then not much of anything at all actually happened. Basically, the story was about Madison, Adam's one night stand for the past year whenever the band hit Dallas for a show. They talked dirty to each other and had sex; but mostly talked dirty. For me, this book was a waste of time. I should have just stop when I knew it wasn't working for me.

Alright... WTH???!!! I was alright with Gabe and Melanie from Take Me having a HFN for now and then revisting them in a later novella..... but now a HFN with Adam and Madison too and revisiting them in another novella AS WELL???!!!! That's just pisses me off SO MUCH! I had been waiting for this book ever since I finished the first one. Olivia Cunning did not disappoint. While Gabe's story centered on the subsequent night after just meeting someone, Adam's was one of the many nights he had spent with the girl he can't get out of his head. I love Olivia Cunning's rock star books. This is Adam's story
This book had a lot more depth than I was expecting. This story was about Adam and Madison. Adam looked forward to stopping in Dallas and spending his night with Madison every time they were near. But Madison had decided she had enough. She knew he would run if she ever asked for a commitment, but she couldn't take loving him and knowing he wasn't committed to only her when he left Dallas. Adam Taylor was first introduced to us in Try Me, the first book in the series. I think I can speak for a lot of readers when I say that I was instantly taken with this quiet, broody rocker. Well if you're in a mood for a total cheesy porn sexfest, this is the book for you. I have to say that I really like OC's other series, Sinners on Tour, and I'm even interested in the guys in this band...I just want MORE story.

Oh my God! this books are the worst thing ever, the ending is so sudden that I end up dying for the next book!!

I loved this story and I loved the romance between Madison and Adam. But I worry about them. Adam has so many unresolved issues- it would be so easy for him to screw up his life and their relationship. But I do love the romance of their story. Because there's such a high risk to it, it almost seems sweeter that they are determined to make it work.

The book has more depth, maybe because the two characters already had a relationship between them, and was easier to see that story progress and see something more concrete.

I didn't really like this as much as the first book of the series, and that's because:
1) Adam was a man whore. Pure and simple. Even if he actually wasn't in a serious relationship with Madie, he had to have RESPECTED her, or something. I hate when the main male character does this type of thing.
2) And Madie. Are you kidding me? The guy fucks around on you, and you STILL wait for HIM? Puhlease.

This was a quick read and I liked it even better than the first in the series. I like seeing a glimpse of the other band members and getting to know them a bit more. (Word is we will get to see more of each of them as the series continues). We see Gabe in this one again and get a bit more of Shade. While we spend most of the 118 pages getting a birds eye view at just how Adam expresses his appreciation of girlfriend Madison, it's those brief glimpses of his vulnerability and uncertainty as he deals with his feeling for Madison, his addiction, the animosity with Shade and his addict father that make you love Adam and want more to his story.
