True love and destiny collide in the conclusion to the Haven trilogy, which Booklist called “a blend of the Gemma Doyle trilogy, the Twilight saga, and Lois Duncan’s thrillers.”

Forced to endure the violent punishment of the Tribunal for murders he has no recollection of committing, Aidan is slowly rotting away in a Paris dungeon. Violet is all but an unreachable dream to h

HATED it. One of the worst YA books I've read this year, it was fucking awful. The plot, the characters, the action, the relationships — all of it was rubbish.

-Most of Eternal consisted of Violet moaning about her missing paedo-vampire-boyfriend, Aiden… And when he finally turned up she still kept moaning about him. She claimed to care about her friends, her family, and her education but that was utter bullshit — her one and only priority was her boyfriend. A book should be more than ju
Oh God this book was wonderful. Absolutely love it.

And again Kristi Cook made me wish that I had special abilities and that I am learning in some kind of supernatural school. That would be awesome. Eternal picks up right after mirage, Aidan being taken away and all. I am really sad to know that Aidan was somewhere in Paris being tortured, but I am also thrilled to know more about Matthew. I love those guys, and the other guys, Tyler and Joshua. SO MANY CUTE GUYS... CAN'T STAND.... ok sto
Waiting for this book for a year!!
Eternal was the most satisfying conclusion to a trilogy that I have read… ever. Period. End of discussion. It was so good, I don’t even know if I can put it into words – minus spoilers – but I’m going to try!(I’m also going to apologize right now for babbling and fangirling, because it might happen… I can’t promise that it won’t).

I picked up Haven (the first book in the Winterhaven trilogy – although I didn’t know at the time it was a trilogy) when it first came out and I devoured it. It was an
I want this book. NOW!! SERIOUSLY!! AIDAN!! NOO!!

I finished it. This was soo good and I loved it!! More to come later!

Great but also horrible conclusion to a trilogy. The best book in the series. It was a fast paced book with no dull moments, but there are a few things that I was torn up over.
Firstly, Mathew should not have died! Kristi Cook should've found another way to keep Aidan and Violet together but ALSO keep her megvéd alive.
And secondly, we barely heard of Jack after the incident with Kate. I wish he hadn't just distanced himself from the whole group.

Although Aidan and Violet "live happily

I loved this last installment in this trilogy. Everything was wrapped up nice and neat and to be honest, more than 3/4 of the way through the book, I was wondering if there was going to be another book in the future because I couldn't see how it was going to be ended in such little time. But it was and it was good!

So, in the beginning of this installment, Violet is a nervous wreck, since Aidan is gone, having turned himself into the tribunal for being the Manhattan stalker. She knows he was mani

Eternal is the highly anticipated conclusion to the Haven trilogy. After reading the first two books and loving them, I admit I had built up a lot of expectations for the book. Since it’s the conclusion and all, I imagined lots of twists and surprises and definitely higher stakes for the characters – most especially to Violet. Unfortunately, the book fell short of my expectations and I didn’t quite feel the

It was good there just wasn't a lot to it, I mean this series in General was okay not great but okay, there just wasn't a lot of action and even though I think it was cute that Aidan finally found his cure I just was kind of bored with the last book and disappointed I mean I was expecting some sort of big battle where there's fights with vampires throughout the book or Violet gets to met the rest of the Sabbat bag they get to fight in thr big battle together , but unfortunately those things didn ...more

Thank god I didn't read what the third book would be about before finishing Mirage or it definitely would have ruined EVERYTHING. Lol
Oooooohhh I liked this book the most! It had a purpose, in my opinion!

The ending was happy but sad at the same time. Oh for the confrontation, I think it needed more action. It seems boring. But the preceding parts were nice. Author knows how to build up the mood! Nice. Nice. I guess I root for Matthew than Aidan. Matthew seemed more real than Aidan. Real in a human sense, I guess? Of course Aidan was a vampire but still. I'd go for Matthew. I keep having doubts about Aidan if he's trustworthy o

I really, really enjoyed this book and adored the series. All through the book I could hardly take my mind off the words. I don't see the resemblance to Twilight (as a lover of books with vampires in it I am slightly biased but I HATED Twilight) maybe people just think everything with vampires in it is a spin off from Twilight. I don't know but this book is 10000000x better than many other books and has alot of things in it that set it aside from most.
This book broke my heart and mended it again
This is really nice, can't believe that this is already the end

Awesome ending to this had been awhile since I had read the first two books in this series, but once I started reading Eternal, I could not put it down. I really like Violet and Aidan and all their friends. Not only are you interested in the main story, you are also caught up with the minor characters and their stories. I can see the author continuing with the other characters in spin offs from this series.
As for this book, I highly recommend you read the other books wi
This book was pretty awesome. I loved it since the first book, Haven. This trilogy is totally one of my faves. It was not disappointing, all three books were amazing and I loved it so much. The way Kristi Cook wrote this was good, the characters were simply good too, and the concept is very much amazing.

I love Violet McKenna (the main character) since the very start. I love how she stayed brave after all the things she'd been through. She has great powers! I loved it. Let's move to Aidan Gray, V

Is anyone else with me in becoming a little gun-shy with series finales? I have found myself in the past couple of years becoming less and less enthusiastic about reading a final volume of a favorite series, having been too disappointed with too many of them. There are a few, in fact, that I’ve purposely not read because I want to be able to end the story in my head the way I believe it should go. With this series, I was fairly certain that I could trust the author to end this story the way I wa ...more
Well Violet returns to Winterhaven for her senior year completely heartbroken after Aidan having turned himself over to the tribunal for the horrible murders he was accused of committing without his knowing. Violet was so mopey it was a bit annoying. She still has her moments where she is overcome with a vision or dream of something potentially destructive happening to one of her friends or loved ones. The connection with Aidan somewhat remains and she has flashes where she believes she can feel ...more
Good ending to the series! I love the friendships in these books, as well as the romance. AWESOME!! This book was a quick read, with some exciting and tense parts, some happy times, and some bittersweet and heart-breaking moments, too ((view spoiler)). I’ve always loved the idea of Aidan being a vampire who wants to be cured--who does not want to be a monster and ...more

I had trouble with most of this book until the very end. In the beginning, Violet is getting visions of Aidan being tortured, yet her main strategy for finding him is wishful thinking based on wanting everything in life to stick to a prescribed routine (i.e. Maybe we'll get into the same college together). Even when he is found and plainly traumatized, she is all about routine and normalcy (i.e. I can't skip sixth period class). And when Aidan is clearly having a difficult emotional time with wh ...more
Wow. I couldn't believe everything that happened in this book. But it was an amazing end to an amazing series and I couldn't imagine anything different.

I was in love with Violet. She has come so far and she doesn't give up hope. She will do whatever it takes to protect the ones she loves most, and to save the boy she loves. So many things get thrown her way and she pushes her way through and still looks forward to what happens next. She gets knocked around and still gets up she is an amazing ch
If you haven't read any of the Winterhaven Series by Kristi Cook, you're seriously missing out. With a bit of magic, some paranormal lovin', and lots and lots of psychic empaths - there's literally something for everyone in this series.
Kristi Cook hails from The University of Southern Mississippi and I couldn't be prouder to say that I also went to school there. It's people like her who make USM proud. She is set to release the third and final book in the Winterhaven Series, and has another tak
Oh man, I can't believe it's really over. Eternal is hands down my favourite book from the other two, but this series still was able to blow me away. The ending to eternal was perfect, and pretty unexpected too. I loved this book so much more than the other two probably because of the characters. Sure there were still the same people with maybe two new people introduced, but it was clear to see how much they've grown from the very first book. There's also a new character, Charlie. To be honest, ...more
Oh my gosh! I can't believe it's over!! This series was pretty dang awesome and I'm really sad that this is it! I loved haven and mirage wayyy surpassed by expectation and also left me blubbering like a little girl. So needless to say I was waiting for eternal quite excitedly!

Okay first off this review will have spoilers so yeah..

Okay we all know Aidan was in the tribunal being tortured somewhere in Paris.. And violet was trying to think of ways to get to him. In my mind I was thinking she was
This book was epic and the ending completely resolved the series. I loved every minute of it, even though the beginning of it started out slow due to the lack of Aidan. Once Aidan returned, everything was just full of awesome and of course, romance. I loved this series from the very beginning. When I first saw Haven I wasn’t aware that I was looking at a book with vampires. When I found out that there were vampires, I was hesitant thinking it would be just another vampire book with a boarding sc ...more
Wow! I like taking chances on authors unknown to me and being so surprisingly taken aback! "Eternal" was a fabulous finish to Kristi Cook's "Haven" trilogy. I have very intentionally turned away from series now that try to tell a vampire tale. Since the "Twilight" series, there have been so many people who have tried to replicate the success of vampiric stories. Unfortunately, I feel like the market was flooded with those kinds of storylines, and for me, it was a huge turn-off. Well, I stand cor ...more

“Yeah, sure. You know I can't stand the sight of blood, right?"
"Said no one ever while dating a vampire," he quipped
"Very clever. Ten points to Gryffindor.”
“Don't, Violet. I won't let you. Just... come here." Abruptly, he (Matthew) held out his arms to me, and I allowed him to gather me in his embrace, his chin resting on the top of my head. "Got to England and have a great time with your friends, okay?" he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "Just... be happy.” 2 likes
