Looking Back (The Sword of Glastonbury Book 12)

The love story of Kath (Lucia) and Roger. Lucia is kidnap by pirates when she was 16 and rescue by Irish soldiers. They name her Kath (cat) because she was like a wild cat. Six year later she meets Roger, believe he and her village were all kill when she was taking by the pirates. Now Roger is a womanizer, a drunk and a soldier. Can they find love again? OK story.

This book was better than a few of the others, but it just ended. No epilogue or who the sword was passed to. I guess book 13 will fill in the details. Also, I am not sure why Roger acted the way he did in the beginning of the book because that is not the person he was in book 11, and why was he not with Sean and Peter. I was quite confused. The fact that Kath was close to her childhood village and never ask others or went to see it for herself for the year she was there seemed almost unrealisti ...more

A fun, swashbuckling page turner that held several surprises for me along the way. I always enjoy the strength of Ms Shea's heroines in this romantic series.

The editing is also excellent, as usual.

I'm not sure why, but I didn't like this as much as I did the others. It was OK, but not a lot of character development as there was in the others. I *am* anxiously awaiting the next one.

Lisa Shea is a fervent fan of honor, loyalty, and chivalry. She brings to life worlds where men and women stand shoulder to shoulder, steady in their desire to make the world a better place for all. Most of her profits are donated to support battered women's shelters.

Lisa's works are all cleanly written with no explicit intimacy and little language. They are suitable for teens and up.
