I love how this story unfolds; it is light and flirty at times and deeply emotional and moving at others with a bit of adrenalin packing action thrown in at the end.

Conner Mathew’s is a sexy motorbike riding surgeon who delights in breaking the rules, a playboy rebel with a cause. Kate is his total opposite studious, serious a bit of a workaholic. As the story moves along we learn that both Conner and Kate have had rough childhoods and their past has shape

‘Legendary Playboy Surgeon’ by Patricia Thayer by is as delicious as the cover, I must say. I’m not always a fan of Harlequin Medical romance line of novels. They’re mostly tearjerker. Thank God this one is not. With all the things that’s going on in my life right at the moment, I could use something lighthearted and heartwarming, and this book is just it. It’s also flirty, and not to mention witt
Dr. Kate Graham outside demeanor is known as rigid, follow the rules, aloof type of woman. Mostly because Kate has shielded herself from being vulnerable to others, but Dr. Connor Matthews sees a crack in her exterior when they have a bout over his taking his motorcycle into the hospital. Connor knows his reputation as a bad boy proceeds him, but when it comes to granting a wish of one of his terminally ill patients, he will do whatever he can to bring a few minutes of happiness into their world ...more

Dear Ms. Roberts--

I am baffled why such a good book has such a stupid title. Really, I am. When I first saw your book The Legendary Playboy Surgeon I snorted.  The cover is awful--some dark-haired dude wearing oversized aviators is going for sexy and coming across surly--and the series description, "Heartbreakers of St. Patrick's Hospital. The delicious doctors you know you shouldn't fall for!"sounds like an atrocious reality TV show. I was sure, as someone who has worked in  hospitals and  is m

This book promised to be the most absurd thing Id read in a long, long time. It had such potential to be an utterly horrid book that I would clutch to my bosom and cherish.

It fell short. Really, really short.

First, the book was written well. Well, at least in a technical sense. Which doesnt make sense at all. (Following along? Because Im not and Im the one driving this train wreck) What I mean to say is that this book was lacking all the technical writing flaws that make stories jarr

4 STARS I hope i got the right author for this on my ebook and amazon it says Alison Roberts. Netgalley says Patricia Thayer. This book has a lot tender moments and makes you want to hold your kids and glad that they are healthy and protected. Dr. Kate Graham who works in pathology department. She likes rules and tries to be else where when young children needs to be autoopsies she makes excuses not to do them. She lives alone a

First, I love that this story is set in New Zealand. That was really cool. I haven’t read one set there before! I also really enjoyed the hospital setting. As a loyal fan of the show Grey’s Anatomy, I should be reading more books set in hospitals because I enjoy reading about the dynamic between doctors, nurses, and staff. I don’t think real hospitals are at all this way, but who cares. As long as they make dramas
I received a copy of this book from Netgalley for review.

I gave The Legendary Playboy Surgeon 3.5 stars.

Dr Kate Graham is a pathologist at St Patricks Hospital & she's a bit of a workaholic. She follows all the rules so imagine her disdain when she sees that Connor Matthews (playboy/orthopaedic surgeon) has brought his motorcycle IN TO the children's ward! She is totally angry until she realises his perfectly acceptable reason for doing it.
The pair of them have a friendship that only grows s

THE LEGENDARY PLAYFUL SURGEON by author Alison Roberts is a Mills & Boon Medical series release for July 2012.

Connor Mathews had a love them and leave them reputation. So Dr. Kate Graham wanted nothing to do with him, ever.

Yet she couldn't resist the sizzling awareness which sparked between them whenever they came close. Could she let her guard down around him? Could she trust him with her heart?

THE LEGENDARY PLAYBOY SURGEON is written with superb understanding of human emotions. Author Alis
A nice little story. Liked the characters. Uptight heroine, bad boy hero--nice.

I was born in Dunedin, New Zealand. My father's medical career took us overseas when I was five, and I went to school in London for a year before moving to Washington, D.C. Eventually we returned to Dunedin, where I finished school and then trained as a primary school teacher.

After I married my husband, who works as a doctor, we moved to Christchurch where I worked for a time as a research technic
