I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and sexy tale of a second chance at love!! Anyone who's read enough of my reviews knows that I prefer the love stories where the main characters have a past; it allows for so much more depth to the emotions, and that heart-racing moment when they lay eyes on each other again is always hard to top! So I was really excited to see Marquita Valentine's take on a long-lost love story with Twice Tempted, and it was a gem!

I absolutely adore this book and can't wait for the next book in the series. Who doesn't love an accident prone gal and big time Hollywood actor. It was a lot of fun to read.

Starting this book was a bit weird as I had read the novella (Seducing a Billionaire) which is a prequel of sorts (it gives you the scene of their previous meeting) and that ends rather abruptly. You don't get their break-up. Instead you get an excerpt for this book to "find out what happens".

This book brought about mixed feelings. I very much enjoyed Zoe and Ian's story. The love at first and second sight is very sweet. It's a page turner to see how it plays out. Will Ian's playboy, drug days ruin his second chance with Zoe or does love win ?

I just couldn't like this book. I really felt there was too much going on with no depth to any of it. Sort of like thinking you're at a lake only to find it was simply a shallow pond.

I picked up this book as a freebie, but mainly because the cover drew me in and the synopsis sounded awesome. I was not disappointed and would have happily paid for this one. I give it 3.5-4 stars. It was a cute book, with an interesting premise.. There were parts I absolutely loved: I thought Zoe was adorable, I loved Christians pez collection, I am always drawn to the bad boy changing his ways, and as silly as it is I love 'The Big Misunderstanding' (because no one actually did anything unforgivable like cheat etc.. As this was my first time reading Marquita Valentine, I wasn't sure what to expect. WOW...I was blown away by Twice Tempted!!! Such an AWESOME book!! It was filled with everything that I love~laughter, romance, hot sex, interesting characters, a sexy badboy with a British accent, a sweet clumsy heroine and most important of all, an entertaining story with an awesome epilogue!!

I was disappointed with this book and will most likely be in the minority with my review. Going in, I already knew that the storyline would more or less be typical - hollywood bad boy hooks up with small town girl. In this case though, the small town girl was an accomplished author and is famous in her own right but she was still the small town girl with a whole bunch of family rallying around her. I knew this going in, I knew this.

I enjoyed this book. Christian was a bad boy that so much wanted to be good for Zoe. Miscommunication, fear and hurt feelings kept them apart but set up a story that had a great ending!
Typical romance. No real wow factor. But not a bad read either. Overall rating. Good. Maybe a tad bit longer than it needed to be. Things were over stretched a bit... But not to the point that it dragged. A good break up scene.. Lots of emotions.. And he can be such an ass.. I find that these 'one of a kind' relationships are getting a bit old for me.. Why is it.. Oy....This book really had the potential to be great, but there were plot issues, grammatical errors, and annoying characters. While I enjoyed Ian and Zoe, there was lots of jumping around and we didn't learn about their past together until it was randomly pieced together by a variety of different characters. I hated Ian's father and Zoe's family was really bugging me. I also really didn't understand Sasha's character. And the love scenes were a little cliche using words and phrases that made me...more

I won a copy of this book from the author, and it is very, very cute! I'm a little uncertain if the book is self-published or not, but at times I thought it was because there were some grammar & spelling mistakes. However, that didn't take away from my enjoyment of the book one bit. I loved the Southern heroine, especially when she tells off the paparazzi at the end, lol! I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves contemporary romance!
I have read Drive Me Crazy first, so almost all the characters in both books have been brand new to me and didn't know what was going to happen neither with Melanie and Carter nor with Christian and Zoe. It's a pretty beautiful story. As a spanish girl, I would like to say that there're a lot of wonderful places besides majorca, i.e. mojacar :) anyway I really enjoyed the book, it's breathtaking and heartwarming
This was a fun read full of unexpected twists. It reminded me of an "I Love Lucy" episode, with Zoe trying to be sophisticated and Christian trying to be suave, but always falling a bit short and ending up in one scrape after another. The chemistry between them was hot, and despite the mistakes they made along the way, I couldn't help rooting for them to be together. A promising start to the Holland Springs series!
i liked the prequel alot but was a little disappointed by this. overall the plot line was pretty good. i liked the way the characters came together and fell for each other. what i didnt like was the lack of trust between the characters, it doesnt make for a good relationship in real life or in a book. It ended well enough but the characters were a little unappealing to me so i didnt get that into it
I stumbled on this book through Facebook via a book blog that had several free Amazon kindle books. After reading the description, I thought this was something I would really like. I cranked through the whole thing in roughly a day and a half. :) The story line was fun, sweet, and sexy and you were rooting for the couple throughout the entire book. Loved it!!! <3

What a great freebie! I don't always hold out hope when I go for a freebie book from my collection. This one went way beyond any of my expectations. Fabulous book! Worth every minute and looking forward to reading the next in the series!
Clutzy Zoe is quite a character and romantic Christian ,well to say he was hot is an understatement . Together they make a perfect pair . LOVED the epilogue...I have to say I can't warm up to Sasha so not sure if I will read #2 .
Thoroughly enjoyed this love story! Always love a lead man who's a little arrogant and confident!!! As always, I had to flip past unnecessary sex scenes so probably won't revisit this one but enjoyed it all the same.
