Thoroughly enjoyed this memoir type book about growing up in my hometown, Sheboygan , Wisconsin . Author was a grade school classmate of one of my sisters-he really nails the description of the German Catholic hard working folk in our city! I also enjoyed the hilarious descriptions of working on his parents' mink farm.

It is interesting reading about other people and just how their lives evolve. I look forward to reading the next book about his life.
