DAY 2: China
A mysterious scroll, daylight robbery, the Great Wall of China, the First Emperor
Posing as an Immortal to find the Book of Songs seemed like an excellent idea. But when Arkie and TJ meet the First Emperor of China, they realise they might be trapped in Ancient China – forever!

These books are just so much fun. I read the first book in the series,
Code Crimson
last month, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and Time Trap is even better. Because there's no need to set up the situation, the book can launch right into the next adventure, which means that the same exciting momentum is maintained throughout. Anyone who missed the original will not be completely lost, however, as the two main characters, Arkie and TJ, sum up the vital points at the beginning of this instalment.

Another great Arkie Sparkle adventure story! Following on from Code Crimson (#1), Time Trap jumps straight into the action with eleven year old Arkie, her genius cousin T.J and dog Cleo ‘time slipping’ back to Ancient China.
It’s day two and Arkie is determined to uncover the next treasure for the kidnappers who have her parent’s hostage. A cryptic scroll leads them to the Great Wall of China but is then stolen- luckily T.J has a photographic memory!
