When I saw that this book was about a bachelor show, I bought it instantly. No questions asked because I'm a reality TV junkie, and it's the first time I saw a book covering it. Falling for You is a very easy, fun book without any too deep emotions; it was full of stereotypical drama, and predictable storyline, and honestly, I had a blast reading about it, and imagining myself in those girls shoes. Falling for You is the best book to relax your mind and take a break fr...more

As someone who may or may have not tried out for The Bachelor back in the day, I was so excited to read this book.

New York City Banquet Manager Cassidy Quinn is ready to get on with her life after her boyfriend dumps her and heads back to California to resurrect his pro-surfer career. Her sister decides to help her forget the jerk by submitting Cassidy for a dating reality show to find The One. Unfortunately for Cassidy, Bachelor Brad is also the aforementioned jerk. Yikes!

Cassidy Quinn is ready for a new adventure after getting dumped by her boyfriend six months ago. When her sister signs her up for a new reality dating show she jumps in only to find herself faced with her ex, Brad, as the bachelor. Talk about drama. If that wasn’t enough, Cassidy is assigned her very own cameraman to follow her around. And that cameraman just happens to be drop dead sexy. Evan Burke thought that this job would be easy. Until he met Cassidy.

Evan is determined to keep from fallin...more

This is the second of book of Heather's that I've read and I was not disappointed. She offers up a humor-filled, heart-felt story, that reads like I'm watching a beloved chic flic movie. The characters are real and the emotional connection between the hero and heroine are spot on.

Cassidy is a fun character who is trying to step outside her comfort zone and try something new. I can really appreciate that about her and very much enjoy her journey along the way. Her sister signed her up for a real...more

Love is the risk worth taking and it finds us in the most unusual places. These were the lessons that Evan Burke and Cassidy Quinn learned. Neither of them expects love. For him, being a cameraman on the show was just a job. For her, being a participant was an adventure in the unknown.

Falling For You is such a sweet, funny character driven story. All the characters may not be lovable, but I thought they were great, from the main cast...more

I received a copy of Falling For You by Heather Thurmeier in exchange for an honest review.

Falling For You stars the newly single, Cassidy Quinn, who has just been chosen to appear on a new reality dating show called, The One. Expecting to find Prince Charming and fall madly in love, Cassidy is less than thrilled when she sees that Brad, her ex-boyfriend, happens to be the bachelor. Seeing him brings back old feelings and she starts to wonder if she is over him like she thought she was. But, the...more

Heather Thurmeier is on tour with CLP Blog Tours and Falling For You. As someone who enjoys a good reality show – my weakness is Dancing With the Stars – I knew I was going to get along well with this novel. MC Cassidy Quinn is chosen to compete on a The Bachelor-style reality show, but her enthusiasm for trying something new quickly vanishes as she realizes the eligible man is none other than her ex. Through the challenges and time spent together, Cassidy wonders if she might not truly be over...more

Heather Thurmeier delves into a charming and basically adorable romantic trilogy with book No. 1, Falling for You (read an excerpt here).

In Falling for You, our heroine Cassidy Quinn goes on the new reality TV show, The One, after her sister signs her up. Wanting an adventure, and hoping to end the dating dry-spell she has been under since breaking up with her boyfriend, Brad, she figures why not? Finding love on reality TV could ha...more

Are you a fan of Reality TV shows? Are you addicted to the dating reality shows The Bachelor and The Bachelorette? If you are a fan (even if you are a secret closet fan ... shhh ... I won't tell anyone!), then author Heather Thurmeier's first book in the Reality TV Trilogy, Falling for You is a must read!

It has been six months since twenty-eight year old New York banquet manager Cassidy Quinn's ex-boyfriend Brad trampled her heart and left New York for California. So when her meddling little sis...more

Ever watch Reality shows on TV? It is not my favorite genre of things to watch but I have a few - Amazing Race, The Bachelorette (but not The Bachelor) and America's Next Top Model. It is being a voyeur at it's finest - watching what other people go through to accomplish a tremendous goal. Well, Heather Thurmeier has a fun, romantic Trilogy going involving people who meet due to being on Reality shows. Falling for You and Stuck on You came first and the final installment...more

My Review:
I'll admit, I don't even watch most of the reality shows on TV and have never been drawn to the dating ones, but the premise of this book sounded really intriguing so I snatched it up when offered the opportunity. I'm glad I did. This book was a lot of fun.

Cassidy was entered to join a reality dating show by her sister. She's not looking for love after her ex abandoned her in NYC for the waves of California, but she figures it will be an adventure so she goes along with it. You can ima...more

Falling for You by Heather Thurmeier
This story follows Cassidy whose sister entered her into a reality 'the one' tv show where she might find her one man.
It also follows Evan, her personal cameraman for the show. They each find attracted to one another and that's forbidden in the show.
Cassidy learns that her ex boyfriend is 'the one' for this show...
Even listens to how Brad wants to select 3 to leave, one potentially being Cassidy and why and that upsets Evan.
She befriends a few women and they...more

Falling for You was such a fun book. It captured my attention from the first page and I was on the edge of my seat gripped with panic that everything I hoped for would come crumbling down for one my favorite characters! Thrown in with my panic were laugh out loud moments and some very yummy eyebrow raises that I wish were coming my way.

Cassidy needs some fun in her life so her sister signs her up for a reality dating show. Even though Cassidy isn't fond of the idea she decides to go al...more

First thoughts after…….
Wow great book with twists and turns you don’t expect! Ready for what seems to be a future sequel?
My Summary
Cassidy’s sister signs her up for a reality dating show. It’s been 6 months since her ex Brad broke up with her and she agrees to be on the show to get back in the game.
Evan never wants to fall in love! It just ends in hurt and there’s no point in putting yourself through that right?
Will Cassidy fall for “The One” or someone else altogether?

An excellent read for a reality show addict like me! Loved the premise of a "bachelor" type show and what happens behind the scenes. Heather Thurmeier does a great job at showing how love can happen in unexpected conditions.

I connected with Cassidy, the heroine, immediatly because she is such a klutz. And of course it's all caught on camera.

The hero, Evan, gets to follow his lucky lady around all day and night. This adds nice tension when he has to film her kissing the bachelor. Evan's cute litt...more

This was my first Heather Thurmeier read, but certainly won't be my last. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Falling For You, the first book in her Reality TV Series. Falling for You is a fabulous read, especially for all of my Bachelor lovers out there.

Our Heroine, Cassidy, was funny, quirky and she liked to eat pizza, she was average and that's what I loved about her. She could have been your best friend and that is one quality I like in my heroines, when they are just...REAL! Cassidy had quite the choice...more

Romance for the Reality TV Show Lover!

Heather Thurmeier's voice is distinctively witty, lough-out-loud funny, and sexy. Falling for You is the perfect romance novel for anyone who's ever found herself addicted to reality TV shows like The Bachelor...

Cassidy is ready to find love with the bachelor on the show, until he turns out to be her ex (uh-oh) and then the camera-man assigned to follow her around and film her is too lust-worthy to try and pretend he's not there. I loved getting an inside lo...more

A MUST read for the chick lover. Such a fabulous plot with a "sign of the times" story line. Newly single Cassidy Quinn is thrilled to be a contestant on the new reality dating show “The One”. For Cassidy, she sees it as out of the box, new, exciting, and not at all her old self. For a while she has been single and getting over a breakup, where her ex moved to California. When the reveal comes that the gorgeous bachelor is her ex-boyfriend, Brad, Cass is wondering what her next move will be. Wit...more

Cassidy recently was dumped by her ex-Brad about six months ago. Her sister thought she would sign Cassidy up for a Reality Shot The One (think The Bachelor) and to her surprise she got on. Cassidy is a bit intimidated by the other girls–she feels she is just too plain for the show. She has made one friend on the show–Paige. Each girl is assigned her own camera man and she is lucky enough to get Evan.

Evan is single and is working on The One this summer. Unlike the bachelor on the...more

Imagine finding yourself on a dating reality TV show and the Bachelor you’re supposed to fall in love with is the guy who trampled on your heart a few months ago. That’s exactly the situation Cassidy Quinn finds herself in.

Her sister generously submitted Cassidy’s name to the producers and Cassidy gets chosen to be on the show. After having her heart so recently trampled on, she’s looking for adventure not true love. That is until she turns around and finds herself falling into the deep blue ey...more

Great read!! Really loved it!!!!! I had the privilege of reading book two in this series first and I was dying to read book one and find out how it all started. It did not disappoint at all!

I watch my fair share of reality TV, so it's always interesting to get a behind the scenes look, even if it is a fictional story. I've never really been a fan of finding love type reality shows like The Bachelor, but this book definitely put a huge wrench in the whole premise of one!! Makes me wonder if stuff...more

This was such a hilarious book Poor Cassidy is so klutzy an accident prone her mishaps had me laughing till I cried.

Cassidy gets talked into doing a dating show similar to 'The Batchler'

She's shocked to see the man looking for his The One is actually her EX boyfriend who left her high a dry to surf in California.

Brad the man looking for his The One an he can really be a douche. He's vety Ego centric .

Evan, the camera guy assigned to follow Cassidy everywhere is sexy, hot, eye catching, man can...more

Two words describe Heather Thurmeier’s latest book: Fun and Sexy. I have to admit I am not a reality show fan and my bookshelf mainly holds Romantic Suspense – but I couldn’t help but love Cassidy! Cute, fallible and totally relatable, I want to invite Cassidy over for drinks at my house. She is thoroughly entertaining. This book is a quick read and I can’t wait for the remaining books in Heather’s trilogy – she will make a Chick Lit reader out of me yet! Note: I was provided an ARC for review a...more

It started nice, both Cassidy and Evan's character are easy to like. The tension and drama keep me excited and anticipate what will happen next, the romance between Cassy and Evan is hot and lovely, but the ending feels lacking, I was expecting for more maybe see what happen next after the reality show, I was expecting that evan will somehow manage to share his life with cassy, his fears regarding what happens with his brother, family staff etc. I mean we know what Evan thinks but Cassy don't ri...more

Falling for You was a new author book for me! I liked the summary and thought the premise of a reality show novel was interesting. But, it was just an OK read for me...I did not like it as I expected. The romance was good, the chemistry between main leads Cassidy and Evan was electrifying but the story was not up to the mark. I felt there were lot of loose ends for eg., each participant's room had some four cameras installed and both Cassidy and Evan knew about that but still they did not avoid...more

I don't watch much reality TV--only Ink Master and a few car shows, but I love reading about these shows. I can't compare this to the Bachelor cause I haven't seen it, but this was neat. It had a unique twist too.

Cassidy doesn't fall for the "bachelor", but a cameraman! Her very own cameraman who follows her around. And the man she's "dating" on national TV is her ex-boyfriend! I loved this. I also loved the look into "behind the scenes", what it's probably like: wearing voice boxes, cameras in...more

This is the first book in the Reality TV Trilogy and the first book I’ve read by Heather Thurmeier. I must admit that I have mixed feelings regarding this book. I liked it up until the end.

I get Evan and I completely adore him. Cassidy is a toss up. Sometimes I like her and feel for her, other times, I can’t stand her and just wish she would go away. But she’s the heroine of the book so she can’t do that. Brad, Cassidy’s ex...more
