Eternally Yours
by
Gina Ardito (Goodreads Author)
Jodie Devlin's suicide is not the end, merely the beginning. With her future as a living human irrevocably destroyed, she must become an employee of the Afterlife until a new existence can be created for her. In the realm on the other side of death, she’ll learn how to retrieve ghosts who have lingered too long on Earth. If only she didn't have to work beside a good-lookin...more

This book overall was a very enjoyable one to read. Even though this is a fantasy type book it really sort of makes you wonder about what life after death is really like. You are able to feel generally almost heartbroken for the main characters in this book when you seen what they have gone through in this life and in their past lives as well. If there are anymore books written to make this a series I would definitely read them.

I don’t know what I was expecting when I picked up ’Eternally Yours’, but it wasn’t this! I hadn’t read the blurb… I rarely do, but from the title and the cover I expected just another run of the mill love story. This is a love story but it is not ‘run of the mill’, it is a journey to the unknown, in a place outside my thought process with an imperfect couple and the ultimate romance.
The story begins as a disheartened Jodie commits suicide. She has very low self esteem and a distorted view of li...more
Perhaps one of the best PNR I've read in a while, Eternally Yours by Gina Ardito brings a new vision of the Afterlife to readers, challenging preconceptions.
When Jodie Devlin commits suicide, she begins a long journey of discovery. At times funny, yet also sad, the story moves through the phases of grief as Jodie learns about the potential future she gave up to earn her place as one of the Afterlife's bounty hunters.

THIS IS A MUST-READ!
From the very beginning of this wonderful story right to the end, this well written and thought out novel will have you completely immersed. It has a nice balance of humor and intensity.
The author stretched her creative writing to go beyond the realm of our imagination and produced a fast-moving and engaging tale of her view of the afterlife. As is often the case in life, we make assumptions based upon what we believe to be true without reaching for the truth. This story remi...more

I like Gina Ardito's books but when I read Eternally Yours I realized that she has taken her writing into a whole new dimension (and that is not a pun about the subject matter). Initially I was doubtful as it is a story about eternal love in the Afterlife. I should have had more faith in Ms Ardito, however, because it is well written, funny, irreverent, and (although I can't believe I'm saying this given the subject) totally believable. In addition the ending remains elusive until the final few...more

Really like the author's style, just some elements of the story bothered me.

Gina Ardito has always believed the two most important qualities in life are love and laughter. So it's only natural she'd combine the two in her written works. But that's not all! Gina has a not-so-secret identity: historical romance author Katherine Brandon. This gives her a chance to explore more epic stories with adventure, heart, and sometimes, a little bit of magic.
