She works at the hospital and find herself attracted to Dwayne. He is an MRI tech in the same hospital. They have a romantic encounter in the hospital. It continues at Monet's home the next morning.

That is where the first story begins and ends. Quick, abrupt writing. Very descriptive sexual encounters. When we begin the next chapters for Monet - we jump straight into a new location, home,...more We follow the love life of Monet....a nurse who had a relationship that fell apart due to her ex cheating. She works at the hospital and find herself attracted to Dwayne. He is an MRI tech in the same hospital. They have a romantic encounter in the hospital. It continues at Monet's home the next morning.

That is where the first story begins and ends. Quick, abrupt writing. Very descriptive sexual encounters. When we begin the next chapters for Monet - we jump straight into a new location, home, job, and life. It leaves a lot of confusion when you first begin the story. You are wondering what happens to Monet and Dwayne's relationship and 'how did we get here'. The story unravels as you go along.

The second story....Monet is living on the island of St Thomas with a new job. Dwayne and Monet called it quits. We follow Monet around a typical day on the island. Monet makes plans to go to a club with her friend Maurice. While at the club...Giorgio - the local jewelry store owner - tells Monet he want her and jerks her top down to fondle her. In walks the ex - Miguel. They end up walking on the beach and have sex. Maurice and another man watch the encounter. Dwayne shows up the next day wanting to continue their relationship as well.

The third installment ....Miguel and Monet are planning a wedding. The move in together. She has a lingering 'nag' that she can't live 'happily ever after' with Miguel. She runs into Dwayne - they decide to give it another try. She calls off her wedding. Then we jump to the start of Dwayne and Monet's new relationship.

While it was a 'good' story in regards to the sex scences...there was a lot of 'breaks' in the story. We jump from Monet and Dwayne having sex to Monet's new life months later. I do find some of the story hard to believe...and that is what I look for in a story....A believable storyline.
I cannot imagine letting someone I walked in on sex with back into my life without questions, reservations, and a lot of fighting. I cannot imagine the scence of a man in a club, jerking Monet's top down to fondle her and passing the scene off without any type of reaction -so to speak. There are many things in the book that leave you scratching your head. However - if you are looking for intense sex scenes and do not care about detailed story lines - then this is the book for you!(less)

Monet Love is a very short and very disappointing story about a women, Monet, who has no idea what she wants, or who she wants. She started out as a confident woman who just wanted sex, then turns into some spineless woman who runs away with a man she doesn't even like. This story spans a year or two, I don't even know, since the time jumps are not clear at all, and Monet seems to end up in the same place as she started. It's all very underdeveloped, even for a short story.

MONET LOVE, AN EROTIC LOVE STORY is a fun and sexy read sure to kick your libido up a few notches.

Monet is a single nurse looking for Mr. Right, but in the meantime, Mr. Right Now is looking pretty good to her. This “erotic love story” is basically laid out into three accounts that finally leads to Monet finding the “man of her dreams.”

This was an interesting way to tell a love story. We follow the same three people through the story, Monet, Dwayne, and Miguel. There are three parts to the story with some fade to black gaps in time between the stories.

I liked Monet. She was independent and did her own thing. She went after what she wanted. The only thing I didn't care for was the way she seemed to play Miguel and Dwayne. I wouldn't have gone back to Miguel, but that's me!
